THE BIGGEST FANTASY GOLF CONTEST EVER!
FanDuel NBA Lineup for Saturday April 18th
The NBA playoffs have arrived as fantasy owners look to cash in on FanDuel on Saturday. In all fantasy owners have four great games to build a lineup around including a two contests with over/under totals of over 204.5 points. The one contest we have our eyes on is the Houston Rockets taking on the Dallas Mavericks.
This contests currently sits with a 211 point over/under making not only James Harden a great fantasy option but a bunch of players on each team. This pointed us to Tyson Chandler at the center position as well as Al-Farouq Aminu as more of a sleeper option.
Chandler has been brilliant over the teams last five games despite missing one of those contests. In that stretch, Chandler has posted three 36 point fantasy performances in the four game stretch. Aminu has played well himself scoring at least 23 fantasy points in four straight contests.

Here is our NBA FanDuel lineup for Saturday April 18th.
PG – Derrick Rose ($6,200): We debated going with Steph Curry and John Wall but couldn’t justify spending the cash at that position when we had an opportunity to stack Harden with Anthony Davis. Rose will look to carry the Bulls in the first round of the playoffs.
PG – Tyreke Evans ($7,800): Despite the return of Jrue Holiday, Evans looks like a great matchup in game one against the Warriors. Evans finished the regular season posting back-to-back games with over 34 fantasy points. The Pelicans will need a big game from Evans and Davis if they want to take game one in Golden State.
SG – James Harden ($11,000): Harden and company look to have a great fantasy matchup in a contest that could see a ton of scoring. These two teams have combined to score at least 209 points in two of their last four contests making points easy to come by.
SG – O.J. Mayo ($4,600): It is almost impossible to spread the funds around to all the positions without turning to some bargains. That is where Mayo, Aminu and Mike Dunleavy come into play. Mayo has had a solid stretch of games posting over 23 fantasy points in three straight games.
SF – Al-Farouq Aminu ($4,500): We could nearly build our entire fantasy lineup with members of both the Mavericks and Rockets. Aminu has posted at least 20 plus fantasy points in seven of his last 10 games. The last time these two teams met Aminu finished with seven points, eight rebounds and two assists.
SF – Mike Dunleavy ($4,300): You never really know what you might get from Dunleavy on a night to night basis. Since we are looking to cash in tonight we like his upside including his ability to post 30 plus fantasy performances. The Bulls should have an opportunity to make some plays against the Bucks.
PF – Anthony Davis ($11,800): No need to really explain this move as Davis is the top option available at his position. The Pelicans will turn to Davis early and often in this contest to help them pick up a much needed win on the road.
PF – Kris Humphries ($3,800): Humphries is our sleeper pick of the day as he has the ability to post 20 point fantasy performances but only costs us $3,800. The Washington Wizards power forward has been playing consistent minutes since returning from an injury.
C – Tyson Chandler ($6,000): The center options are limited on Saturday with other top options including Dwight Howard and Marcin Gortat. We elected to go with Chandler in this contests simply based on his recent success of at least 36 fantasy points in two of his last three games.
FanDuel MLB Lineup for Friday April 17th
The weekend is here giving us a great opportunity to cash in on FanDuel. Outside a couple day games today the Major League Baseball schedule is filled with a thirteen game lineup. This provides fantasy ownesr a great opportunity for fantasy owners to cash in with a long list of great fantasy plays.
Most of the top plays will look to come on the mound tonight as some of the games top starters take the ball. The top of that list is Clayton Kershaw for the Los Angeles Dodgers taking on the Colorado Rockies. Another great option on the mound tonight is Corey Kluber for the Cleveland Indians as they head to Minnesota to take on the Twins.
At the plate the list of talent is outfielder Mike Trout who has been red hot to start the season picking up at least one hit in each of his teams nine games. Over his last six games, Trout has picked up four multi-hit games including three in the Los Angeles Angels last game.
Another name to monitor is Giancarlo Stanton for the Miami Marlins. We stated yesterday to continue using the Marlins outfielder, as the home runs would come. That is exactly what happened as he not only picked up his first home run of the season but also added a double.

Here is our complete MLB FanDuel lineup for Friday April 17th.
P – Corey Kluber ($10,700): We debated back and forth between Kluber and Kershaw. In the end we like Kluber’s matchup against the Twins more than Kerhsaws matchup up against a good hitting Colorado Rockies team. The Twins are hitting just .221 with only five home runs and 27 runs scored in their first nine games.
Option: Jeff Locke (Fantasy Sleeper)
Catcher – Buster Posey ($4,200): The dccision to use the most expensive catcher in action tonight was simple. Look at his lifetime splits against Josh Collmenter are excellent. In his career, Posey picked up 11 hits in 20 at bats with three home runs and nine runs batted in.
Option: Caleb Joseph (Cheaper play, has seven hits in his last 11 at bats)
First Baseman – Mike Napoli ($3,100): The Red Sox first baseman has gotten off to a slow start this season. That being said he has four career hits in just 10 at bats against Ubaldo Jimenez including two home runs.
Second Baseman – Jonathan Schoop ($2,700): Schoop might be one of the hotter hitting second basemans in baseball. Over his last five games, Schoop has three home runs and seven runs batted in.
Third Baseman – Chris Johnson ($2,700): We looked at a few options tonight at the third base position landing us with Johnson. Another option is to go with the cheaper option at pitcher or catcher to upgrade.
Option: Todd Frazier
Short Stop – Everth Cabrera ($2,800): The Orioles head north to take on the Red Sox tonight at Fenway. We like this matchup on both sides but were limited on cash to use a player like Dustin Pedroia. This led us to Cabrera who has hits in three straight games as well as back-to-back games with walks.
Outfielder – Juan Lagares ($2,500): Since we spent most of our funds on one of the top pitcher as well as catcher it now limits us at the other positions. That being said, Lagares has four straight games with over at least 1.25 fantasy points.
Outfielder – Jon Jay ($2,500): Looking at matchups tonight Jay might be the best option among all the outfielders. That being said be cautious incase he isn’t in the lineup. For his career career, Jay has 12 hits in 27 career at bats verse Johnny Cueto including three home runs.
Outfielder – Ryan Braun ($3,800): As we have been saying over the past few days with Giancarlo Stanton the home runs will come. That is the same case with Braun he is over due to this point.
Options: Ichiro Suzuki (3 career home runs against Bartolo Colon), Mike Trout (will have to use Locke and supplement Trout for Braun)
2015’s Top 10 MLB Outfielders
As Baseball season kicks off we are going to take a look at the top outfielders in Major League Baseball. Many teams have great players in the outfield but very few have true 5 tool outfielders who can change the dynamics of a game with their bat and glove. This is a list of the top 10 outfielders in the Majors.
10. Colorado Rockies: Corey Dickerson – Dickerson hit 24 homeruns and had 76 RBI for the often inept Colorado Rockies. Dickerson is looking like a top 10 fantasy prospect that could produce in every category this season. Dickerson was one of the more consistent Rockies players outside of Carlos Gonzalez to produce on a nightly basis. Dickerson will likely continue to fill in at the 4 spot for the Rockies this year and he should look to improve on his .361 BA , 2 HR and 10 RBI he has amassed through 9 games in 2015.
9. Toronto Blue Jays: Jose Bautista – Bautista has become known as one of the better power hitters in the game. Last season Bautista continued to roll. He hit 35 HR and drove in 103 RBI for the Blue Jays who still managed to come up short of the playoffs in 2014. Bautista has looked like one of the more productive and consistent players in MLB as of late and his continued success should only help the Blue Jays move up from an 83- 79 record in 2014. Through 9 games this season Bautista is 5/29 with 2 HR , 6 RBI and 9 Runs driven in.
8. New York Yankees: Jacoby Ellsbury – After the New York Yankees went 84-78 last year they were looking for reasons why come the off season. One of the only things all coaches and managers could agree on was that Jacoby Ellsbury might as well be the best player on the team now that Derek Jeter has retired. Ellsbury had a strong 2014 showing for a guy who failed to measure up to his .300 BA from the year before and his 52 SB.Ellsbury did display some of the power he showed us from his 2011 season . He finished 2014 with 16 HR and 70 RBI while batting .271 from the plate. If Ellsbury can stay healthy and manage to keep his At Bats up he has the ability and potential to go for 25 HR and 90 RBI.
7. Los Angeles Dodgers: Yaisel Puig
– Puig is one of the most explosive young players in Major League Baseball today. He has a great glove and has proven to be a more than capable everyday player despite his tender age. Puig has been able to get on base early in his career because he has mastered what pitch he chooses to hit. He has come a long way but he is one of the few players on this list who could easily rocket up by the end of the season to #2 or 3. Puig is currently batting .222 on 6 /27 he has hit 2 HR and amassed 3 RBI over a 6 game span this season. Puig has all the potential in the world and has already proven to be a potential gold glove winner in right field. His electrifying diving catches and frozen rope throws have made him a real hero in the eyes of the Dodgers fans. Puig is a 5 tool player without a doubt, If he can raise his 16 HR number from last year to around 19 like he did in 2013 he should be more than able to have a break out year.6. Baltimore Orioles : Adam Jones – The 29 year old Jones is accepted as one of the best hitter in Major League Baseball. Jones hit .281 with 29 HR and 96 RBI in 2014 while leading the Baltimore Orioles to 96-66 overall record and another playoff appearance. Jones has already started his 2015 season on a tear. In 9 games is 13/32 and has hit 4 HR with 11 RBI. Jones has already gone on a streak of hitting 4 HR’s in 5 games. If he can keep this pace up he may be looking at his first 40 HR season and 2nd 100 RBI campaign.
5. Milwaukee Brewers : Ryan Braun – Braun has a had a tumultuous career in Milwaukee to say the least. Braun as many know has been in trouble repeated times for growth hormone offenses but that hasn’t deterred him from making a strong comeback these past 2 years. Braun hit .266 with 19 HR and 81 RBI last season. Braun is proven star in this league whether is “juicing” or not. The kid can flat out play Right Field and has a great eye for making contact. He is one of the few players on this list whose fantasy value could rise if he manages to get hot. Braun has been known to catch fire during the season and will definitely help in every fantasy category if drafted. Braun has started his 2015 season off with a .261 BA and 2 RBI. His production is down due to a slow start but I think once mid-May comes around Braun will start live up to his big time reputation.
4. Milwaukee Brewers: Carlos Gomez
– Gomez shares the same outfield with the afore mentioned Braun. Gomez is one of the younger players on this list but he has the resume to prove he may be one of the more explosive up an coming hitters in the game. Gomez hit 23 HR’s last year and drove in 73 RBI for the Brewers. His batting average was an impressive .284 and with time and experience Gomez should blossom into one of the new bright young stars in the league. If Gomez can manage to keep his average up and strikeouts down, he should looking at a big time season for the Brewers. So fair in 2015 Gomez has a .235 BA and has hit 1 HR and 6 RBI.3. Miami Marlins: Giancarlo Stanton – Stanton is fresh of receiving one of the most valuable and lucrative contracts in the Majors this year. His 13 year $325 million contract is unmatched and Stanton has the tough task of earning that ridiculous contract. Stanton is known for his great bat and high light reel outfield catches that few in his position could make. He has had a solid pro career and mixed in with is raw athleticism is the fact ttaht Stanton is a great base runner. Stanton has managed to achieve 6 hits in 30 At Bats and 7 RBI with No HR in fresh 2015 season. Based off his 37 HR and 105 RBI numbers from 2014 Stanton is looking to have another great year despite his overall team.
2. Pittsburgh Pirates : Andrew McCutchen – McCutchen is the Pittsburgh Pirates best player. Heck he may be one the best players in the league. McCutchen managed to hit .314 last year with 25 HR and 83 RBI for the Pirates. His dominance doesntjust show up at the plate though. He is one the most revered 5 tool players in the bigs. As long as McCutchen can stay healthy he will continue to produce at a high level. Its just what this guy does. So far in 2015, McCutchen has missed 1 game for knee soreness. But he managed to still hit a HR this year and currently has 7 RBI with a .207 BA in 8 games. The Pirates as a team are struggling to hit the ball . Once the Pirates and McCutchen figure It look for them to continue their rise to prominence.
1. Los Angeles Angels: Mike Trout – Not a lot to be said about Mike Trout that hasn’t been said before. Trout is the type of player every team wishes they had. A 5 tool outfielder, with speed, athleticism, smarts and power. Trout has managed to burst onto the MLB scene and take the game over like known one in recent memory. Trout can steal bases, hit home runs, get on base and more than anything win thr Angels games with his quick bat and golden glove. Trout hit 36 HR and drove in 111 RBI last season while batting .287. Seeing as how Trout just continues to get better and better each year , im looking for his value to continue to rise in every category except for this 2015 season if he can manage to stay healthy. Trout currently has 14 hits on 32 AB and has hit 1 HR and driven in 4 RBI in 9 games this season.
FanDuel Fantasy MLB Lineup for Thursday April 16th
The MLB action is limited tonight but Archie Bradley looks to deliver for FanDuel owners tonight. In a night limited to just four MLB games the options are limited on the mound and in your lineup. That being said you do have a few tough decisions to make including whether or not to use either Madison Bumgarner or Cole Hamels.
For us we compared the Bradley to the top few starters throwing tonight for their respective teams. In his first start of the season, Bradley allowed zero earned runs over six innings outpitching Clayton Kershaw in route to a 16 point fantasy performance. Bumgarner on the other hand has only one double digit fantasy performance in his three starts this season and cost $3,100 more than Bradley. Hamels pitched well against the Washington Nationals over the weekend posting double digits but we valued the $2,500 savings tonight with limited options.

As far as at the plate we elected to go with Giancarlo Stanton tonight against the New York Mets. While many are concerned over the fact he has yet to hit a home run with many putting the blame on last season’s hit to the face. We are optimistic that the long ball will come for Stanton with tonight being a great night for his first.
Here is our MLB FanDuel Lineup for Thursday April 16th.
P – Archie Bradley ($7,400): The Arizona Diamondbacks starter has showed his ability to pitch at the major league level picking up his first win against the Los Angeles Dodgers. In that start Bradley allowed just one hit over six innings against one of the top lineups in the National League.
C – TuffyGosewisch ($2,200): We thought about going with one of the bigger named catchers but since we had Bradley on the mound that eliminates Buster Posey. That being said when we look at Gosewisch while he won’t provide power he has picked up at least one hit following a game where he failed to pick up a hit.
Option: Travis D’Arnaud (Will need to make an additional move, Martin Prado for Evan Longoria)
First Base – Lucas Duda ($3,900):Duda is currently on a bit of a hot streak posting back to back eight point fantasy nights. We elected to go with the hot bat over the likes of Paul Goldschmidt who has a difficult matchup against Bumgarner.
Second Base – Dee Gordon ($4,200): The options at second base are thin tonight with Chase Utley being another option. Gordon is currently riding a four game hitting streak in that stretch he has posted eight hits with four runs batted in and three stolen bases.
Third Base – Evan Longoria ($3,700): We thought about possible Josh Donaldson but don’t like his matchup against Chris Archer tonight for the Tampa Bay Rays. Longoria will face off against Aaron Sanchez who struggled in his first outing of the season against the Baltimore Orioles allowing seven hits, two home runs and three runs scored in just 3.1 innings.
Short Stop – AdeinyHechavarria ($2,400): The Miami Marlins short stop is another FanDuel bargain tonight for fantasy owners. Hechavarria is currently riding a three game multi hit game streak for the Marlins.
Outfield – Desmond Jennings ($3,300): Jennings won’t provide your team with a ton of power but he does offer your team a base stealing threat. Over his past three games, Jennings has stolen three bases something that will increase if he can get on base a little more.
Outfield – Giancarlo Stanton ($5,000): We have our money riding on Stanton finding his long ball power tonight. Despite his struggles Stanton has the chance to post double digit fantasy performances almost any night of the week.
Outfield – Ben Revere ($2,800): Revere has struggled early but we still like his ability to post some fantasy numbers. The Philadelphia Phillies outfielder has some power as well as the ability to steal bases he just needs to get on base.
Option: Steve Souza (Swap out Stanton for Bryce Harper to free up cash)
FanDuel NBA Lineup For Wednesday April 15th
The NBA season wraps up tonight giving FanDuel owners one last chance to cash in during the regular season. In all 14 NBA games take place tonight giving you 28 teams to build a money winning lineup. Before you jump to building that lineup consider all the possibilities.
For example, the Washington Wizards have locked up their playoff spot and will be coming off a double overtime loss to the Indiana Pacers. While John Wall and Bradley Beal each logged solid minutes last night.. We expect head coach Randy Wittman to give them a breather tonight so look for them to be out of the lineup. That being said you could find a FanDuel bargain in this matchup such as an Otto Porter.
Along with avoiding potential players that may be rested we also have four teams fighting for the final two spots. In the Eastern Conference the Indiana Pacers need a win to lock up the last spot while the Brooklyn Nets sit a game back. Over in the Eastern Conference the Oklahoma City Thunder trail the New Orleans Pelicans by one game.
The Pelicans take on a San Antonio Spurs team that could decide to rest their playoff as we have seen Greg Popovich do in the past making Anthony Davis an excellent play. For the Thunder, Russell Westbrook will look too continue his fantasy dominance tonight to ensure his team in place for a playoff trip if the Pelicans lose to the Spurs. Other great fantasy plays include Deron Williams for the Nets and Paul George for the Pacers.
Here is our final regular season Fanduel NBA Lineup for Wednesday April 15th.
PG – Russell Westbrook ($12,600): Westbrook is one of the safer fantasy plays tonight as the Thunder continue to fight for a playoff spot. That made it easy for us to build our lineup around the top fantasy scorer in the NBA.
PG – Shelvin Mack ($3,800): Looking for a bargain Mack might be the exact solution you are looking for tonight. The Hawks locked up the top spot in the Eastern Conference so expect the team to go with more a reserve lineup tonight. Mack finished with 30.8 fantasy points just two games ago.
SG – O.J. Mayo ($4,600): The Milwaukee Bucks shooting guard has posted back to back 23 plus fantasy performances. On a night when a bunch of the top options will get the night off, Mayo should give you some solid return for his value.
SG – Joe Johnson ($5,600): Johnson is much like Westbrook tonight as the Nets still have a small chance of landing that eighth and final spot in the Eastern Conference. Look for Johnson as well as Deron Williams to step up tonight.
SF – Otto Porter ($3,900): Like Mack in Atlanta, we expect Porter to an increase in minutes tonight in a lineup that could be without John Wall or Bradley Beal. The two Wizards stars played a ton of minutes in the teams double overtime loss last night.
SF – C.J. Miles ($5,100): While our gut is saying to use Paul George as the team will need a big time performance from him to lock up the final playoff spot. His limited minutes opens up a chance for Miles to put up some solid fantasy numbers. Miles has had three straight fantasy performances with over 31 fantasy points.
PF – Jason Thompson ($5,000): With DeMarcus Cousins out of the lineup Thompson has had his chance to see some decent playing time. Thompson and the Sacramento Kings will be taking on a Los Angeles Lakers team that might just let some of their equipment managers play to lock up another loss.
PF – Anthony Davis ($11,800): When this scenario played out that the Pelicans and Thunder both need a win it opened up the chance to pair the two tonight for fantasy. While it is an expensive play look for both players to do everything in their power to lead their team to victory. Davis has put together back-to-back games with over 46 fantasy points.
C – Enes Kanter ($7,400): Kanter has had an up and down past couple games for his fantasy owners. Last game Overall, the Thunder center has posted six games with at least 30 fantasy points in his last ten contests.
Recommendation for tonight: Check the daily lineups as close to tipoff as possible to make sure these players are in the lineup. Also take a look around the NBA to see what other superstars might be out of the lineup. You might be able to land another great play based off of the move.
Detroit Tigers to The World Series?
As opening day kicked off the Detroit Tigers are looking to improve on their 90-72 record from last season. The Tigers have won their division the past 4 years but when it comes to October the bats in Detroit start to go cold. Behind the power of Miguel Cabrera, J.D Martinez and Victor Martinez the Tigers are poised for another big season. When you factor in the big names in the bullpen as well, you have to consider the Tigers are title contenders if they can stay healthy and get over the usual humps of choking come playoff time.
The Tigers made some key moves this offseason that will definitely solidify their lineup moving forward. The addition of Yoenis Cespedes will be a tremendous one. Cespedes is one of the better outfielders baseball. He is known for his quick bat and defensive prowess in the field. Detroit fans will get used to him throwing guys out at home plate from about 300 feet out. Cespedes is looking like he will be batting 5th or 6th depending on where catcher Alex Avila lands in the rotation. Cespedes hit an impressive 22 Home Runs and drove in 100 runs last year. His offense and defense is a definite plus to a team in need of that little boost.
The addition of Cespedes will give the Tigers an added threat on the defensive side of field. But one guy the Tigers are happier than ever to have back is the defensive gem that is shortstop Jose Iglesias. Iglesias is one of the few players to miss all of last season due to injury. He is coming off of having stress fractures in both legs. According the training staff Iglesias has been making great improvements as his rehab will continue throughout the season as his injury was near debilitating. Iglesias is poised to have a strong comeback year at shortstop if he can get his bearings back under him early in the season.
The Tigers pitching staff took a blow in losing Max Scherzer and Rick Porcello this off season. If Detroit wants to contend for a pennant this year it is going to have to come on the shoulders and strong arm of David Price. Price is coming off a solid year in which he won 15 games with a 3.26 ERA. If Price can manage to play like he was in Tampa then Detroit will be on the uprise. Since the trade to Detroit , Price has been shaky at best. He has looked like a future superstar some games while others looking as if he needs some time to warm up in triple AAA. The guy is great talent but if the Tigers want to win they will need him to step up from a 15-12 record last year. If Price can manage 20 wins behind the solid bats and defensive he has been provided he could easily be a front runner for the Cy Young award given his reputation.
That being said all the pressure shouldn’t be on just David Price to perform this year. The Tigers success also depends on their #2 pitcher Justin Verlander. Verlander is coming off one of his more forgettable seasons as Tiger after posting a 15-12 record with a 4.54 ERA and 159 K’s . Many have said Verlander just isn’t focused on baseball anymore to put it simply. But can you blame the guy? His girlfriend is Kate Upton. All jokes aside the guy is one hell of a pitcher when he is totally focused which is why I am confident in saying that he will make a resurgence this season and definitely get his ERA back down to around 3. Verlander admitted last year to being caught up in the media storm that surrounded his relationship with the model. Verlander stated that at some points he felt as if he it was his mechanics or his mental focus would be off during games leading the Tigers to do everything possible to help the guy out. Fortunately for them an off Justin Verlander could start on about 20 other teams. If Verlander with a year under his belt dating Upton has finally gotten his mind on baseball he could easily turn this pitching staff into one of the MLB’s elite.
The Tigers started their 2015 campaign off with a series vs the Minnesota Twins. The Tigers are looking to win the series outright and prove they are here to make a name for themselves this year. Detroit will be led by the big bats of Miguel Cabrera who hit (.313/.371/.524) and had 25 HR’s and 109 RBI and Victor Martinez who hit (.335/.409/.565) with 32 HR’s and 103 RBI.
If the Tigers can continue to hit well, keep men off base and stay healthy, along with getting the continued solid pitching performances from their staff they should be a bright surprise in the Fantasy Baseball world come early to mid October.
Fantasy Basketball Drafting Strategies
Nowadays, amateur and rookie fantasy hoops players focus entirely on previous stats and forget to utilize another key component that can skyrocket your chances in winning. Believe it or not, assessing the game situations can play a huge a role in dictating what you can get out of your players that you drafted.
Always keep in mind teams that have nothing to play for anymore. These teams can either have their playoff position locked in or they simply have nothing to fight for – except maybe greater chances in landing a lottery pick.
For instance, the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Dallas Mavericks all have their position guaranteed in the playoffs. Another loss or win wouldn’t do much for them except keep the momentum going into the playoffs. They are likely to rest key players in the starting lineup to keep them fresh and prevent any unforeseen injuries from happening. If this does happen, look to draft players on each team that will likely see a huge boost in playing time.
Guys like Mike Scott, Kent Bazemore, Tristan Thompson, Iman Shumpert, Raymond Felton, Devin Harris and others, are prime pickings as sleeper candidates for your roster. A couple of these fellas will have a tremendous game and if you have a gut feeling towards one of them, you are better off going with your instincts. Don’t forget to assess their opponent while you’re doing so. Facing a team such as the Denver Nuggets or Sacramento Kings would be a bonus since they have been known to play more offensively.
There are also teams that have nothing to play for such as the LA Lakers, New York Knicks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Charlotte Bobcats and a few others. These teams will definitely take advantage of playing their young assets more so that they get more experience. This is a common tactic to implement especially going into the offseason.
Players such as Jordan Clarkson, Jabari Brown, Cole Aldrich, Langston Galloway, Shane Larkin, Zach LaVine, Justin Hamilton, Andrew Wiggins, and many more are considered great options for the upcoming games. Jabari Brown is one of the players with more upside considering that the Lakers have a lot of injuries and Byron Scott seems to like the kid. LaVine has also just posted monster numbers in the past few games and Ricky Rubio will not be making his return to the court this season. He can potentially give you a good amount of points, assists, 3 pointers and steals.
Like mentioned above, you really need to do your research if you want to be successful. Many of the sharks that play in this leagues feast on those beginners looking to “try their luck.” What separates these sharks from the little minnows is there dedication and feel for the game. Make sure you assess the situation prior to drafting your players. Make a list if you have to and then decide from there.
FanDuel MLB Lineup for Wednesday April 8th
The MLB FanDuel action continues this hump day with a fifteen game lineup to cash in from. A few things went wrong yesterday as the Chicago Cubs game verse the St. Louis Cardinals was rained out forcing you to switch from Yadier Molina. Then Wei-Yin Chen despite some early run support struggled to get into the fourth inning.
Add in a few players who didn’t find themselves in their lineup left us a few key vacant spots. That is the only problem you have when you put these articles out early in the day for baseball. Typically you only see this problem with NBA players only a few times a month.
Today we focused our early research geared around the potential weather forecast for all thirteen games today. Here are the games you want to pay attention to based on the potential weather.
Pittsburgh Pirates VS Cincinnati Reds (50% Chance from 6pm-7pm)
Chicago White Sox VS Kansas City Royals (50% Chance from 7pm to 12am)
Now that we got that out of the way we can take a look at a few players we like tonight. The first player we like tonight is Boston Red Sox slugger Hanley Ramirez verse the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies are expected to send Aaron Harang to the mound tonight making Ramirez an even bigger play. Ramirez is hitting .385 over 26 career at bats with five home runs and seven runs driven in.
Here is our complete FanDuel MLB Lineup for Wednesday April 8th including options.
Pitcher – Tom Koehler ($6,600): Koehler showed at times last season he could be a solid fantasy starter. Tonight he will get a shot against an Atlanta Braves offense that could be sparatic at times this season.
Option – Miguel Gonazlez ($7,300): Additional roster move will need to be made.
Catcher – Mike Zunino ($2,700): The Seattle Mariners catcher had a terrific spring but has yet to pick up a hit during the regular season. We still like his potential to produce along with a great value.
Option – Derek Norris ($2,600)
First Base – Brandon Moss ($3,800): The Cleveland Indians first baseman has a great matchup tonight against the Houston Astros. The Astros are starting veteran Scott Feldman who struggled at times last season.
Option – David Ortiz ($3,800)
Second Base – Daniel Murphy ($3,200): Murphy is a solid play tonight despite facing one of Washington Nationals top starters. The New York Mets second baseman has 12 hits in 38 career at bats including three home runs and seven runs driven in.
Option – Neil Walker ($3,500): An additional roster move will need to be made.
Third Base – Alex Rodriguez ($3,000): While we are unsure how he will hold up for the entire 162 game season. Tonight he has a favorable matchup against R.A. Dickey of the Toronto Blue Jays. A-Rod has eight career hits in 22 at bats against the knuckleballer in his career.
Option – David Freese ($2,800)
Short Stop – Elvis Andrus ($3,400): Now Andrus won’t deliver the big time power numbers that you might be able to get from some of the other shortstops. That being said he is hitting .400 for his career against Scott Kazmir.
Option – Brandon Crawford ($2,700)
Outfielder – Hanley Ramirez ($4,300): The Red Sox big free agent signing this year paid off in the team’s first game of the season. Ramirez touched off two home runs in route to a 15.5 fantasy night. Tonight Ramirez gets to face Aaron Harang of the Philadelphia Phillies someone he has hit five career home runs off.
Outfielder – Desmond Jennings ($2,800): Jennings lacks the batting average numbers tonight against Miguel Gonzalez but he has shown the ability to take him deep. Jennings has three career home runs off the Baltimore Orioles starter in just 18 at bats.
Outfielder – Giancarlo Stanton ($4,800): We are sticking with Stanton for one more night. Stanton has the ability to put up a big game almost any night of the week and that includes tonight against Shelby Miller.
Option 1 – Steve Pearce ($4,100)
Option 2 – Carlos Gomez ($4,000)
Option 3 – Khris Davis ($2,700)
