The Monday morning blues have arrived but don’t let that get you down as FanDuel Major League Baseball is in full swing. That’s right it might be Monday but for us it’s just another day to take home some cash playing on FanDuel tonight. While the slate of Major League Baseball action isn’t full it still delivers 10 action packed games to build your lineup from.
This includes the Colorado Rockies welcoming the Texas Rangers to Coors Field while the Cincinnati Reds welcome the Chicago Cubs to Great American Ball Park. According to ESPN’s Ball Park factors Coors Field ranks first in runs, ninth in home runs, seventh in doubles and second in triples. Great American Ball Park ranks third in runs, second in home runs but 18th in doubles and 26th in triples.
Looking at these two games that all but eliminates four pitching options for tonight, but opens up a ton of lineup plays. As far as a few of the top options on the mound to build from you have Matt Harvey taking the hill against the Washington Nationals, A.J. Burnett takes the mound against the Kansas City Royals and Alfredo Simon faces off against the Seattle Mariners.

Here is our MLB FanDuel lineup for Monday July 20th, 2015.
P – Matt Moore ($6,400): The Tampa Bay Rays starter will be making his fourth start of the season after missing the start of the 2015 MLB season. Since his return Moore has struggled but tonight he should have an opportunity to put together a nice start facing off against a Philadelphia Phillies team that ranks in the bottom of nearly every offensive category.
C – Kyle Schwarber ($2,600): Schwarber is slabbed to start the next three games for the Cubs. This makes the rookie a great option taking in the fact the Cubs are playing at Great American Ball Park. A few other plays we like include Nick Hundley and Robinson Chirinos.
First Base – Prince Fielder ($4,400): Fielder is putting together a great bounce back season after missing most of the 2014 campaign. We took Fielder over someone like Paul Goldschmidt simply based on the fact he has the advantage playing at Coors Field. Anthony Rizzo is another great option as well as Joey Votto and Brandon Belt tonight.
Second Base – Brandon Phillips ($2,800): The Cincinnati Reds second baseman put together a great two game stretch to end the weekend picking up five hits over nine at bats while scoring three runs. Tonight he gets a chance to hit against Clayton Richard who he has picked up four hits off in 12 at bats with a home run.
Third Base – Kris Bryant ($3,300): We started to look at which players were playing in the best hitter ball parks. This led us to decide on either Bryant or Todd Frazier as a solid option at third base while Nolan Arenado is another big play but would have to move some of the cash we spent in the outfield. We settled with the rookie to allow us to go with Trout in the outfield.
Short Stop – Elvis Andrus ($3,100): While we loved the idea of using Troy Tulowitzki tonight we elected to take the other short stop taking the field. Andrus is having a solid season with 16 doubles but also provides an occasional stolen base.
Outfielder – Juan Lagares ($2,200): Since we have some extra cash you could elect to go with a player a little more expensive. That being said Lagares is hitting .421 off of Gio Gonzalez with four extra base hits and four runs driven in during 19 at bats.
Outfielder – Mike Trout ($5,200): No real reason needed to take Mike Trout any night of the week. Along with Trout we debated using Bryce Harper in the third slot but with his 0 for 12 stretch against Matt Harvey we elected to pass. Trout is having another MVP like season including a walk off home run on Friday Night.
Outfielder – Carlos Gonzalez ($4,500): We elected to go with Gonzalez simply based on the fact that the Rockies are at home. You have a full plate of options including Andrew McCutchen and Bryce Harper. You could also go a little cheaper here with Josh Hamilton then use Tulowitzki are Arenado.
