The final game of the NFL preseason is approaching as fantasy owners prepare themselves for another fantasy football season. Now for the fantasy owners that have already held drafts we wish you the best of luck. For the fantasy owners that have not we will be here for you over the next week giving you a few tips.
Then we have our daily fantasy players that will participate in fantasy action on all of the major sites including FanDuel, DraftKings and FantasyAces. We will be here for you each week of the 2015 NFL season all the way through the fantasy action during the NFL playoffs.
Today we want to take a look at some of the top fantasy quarterbacks to consider as the 2015 NFL season approaches.
Here is our top 5 Fantasy Quarterbacks for the 2015 NFL Season.
Tom Brady, New England Patriots: Yes we have the Patriots quarterback atop of our list despite the possibility of missing some action. Brady continues to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL each year and the addition of Reggie Wayne gives him a veteran wide receiver to go with the best tight end in football Rob Gronkowski. We also expect Brady to have a chip on his shoulder after spending the whole offseason dealing with deflategate! If Brady plays week 1 on primetime FanDuel owners should look to add him to their roster!
Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts: Now if we were talking a Fantasy Football keeper league, Luck would be our top option. For us we expect a big season out of Luck with Andre Johnson added to the teams receiving corps. We basically slotted him in behind Brady as we have seen the Patriots quarterback put up big numbers when experts have put him down in the past. Now for daily fantasy football owners week 1 might be a difficult week to use the Colts quarterback as Rex Ryan has had weeks to prepare for the week 1 meeting in Buffalo.
Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers: The Steelers will be without a few key pieces to the teams offense including Le’Veon Bell and Martavis Bryant who are both suspended to start the season. That being said, Roethlisberger still has one of the best wide receivers in the game in Antonio Bryant running routes for him. Look for the Steelers offense to keep pace with any NFL team during the 2015 NFL season. Last season the Steelers offense ranked second in overall yards, second in passing yards and seventh in scoring.
Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers: Rodgers might be the best quarterback in the NFL but a key loss to Jordy Nelson takes away a key piece of his passing attack. Now the team is waiting to see if wide receiver Randall Cobb will be ready to go in week 1 after suffering a shoulder injury in the teams last preseason game. Despite the loss of his top option, Rodgers is a great option for anyone looking to use him in week 1 against a Chicago Bears team that has some key holes on the defensive side of the ball.
Ryan Tannehill, Miami Dolphins: We might surprise everyone here but we are slotting the Dolphins quarterback ahead of both Peyton Manning and Drew Brees. This is simply based on our concern for Manning for an entire season while Brees will have his opportunities to throw but will his revamped passing attack make plays? The Dolphins went out this offseason looking to upgrade weapons for Tannehill succeeding by adding Kenny Stills, Greg Jennings, Jordan Cameron and Devante Parker. Tannehill could be a nice option for someone looking to cash in on some millions in week 1 on DraftKings or Fanduel.
