The 2016-17 NBA Season rolls on Tuesday Night as we all look to cash in on some action on FanDuel. Tuesday’s night action on the hardwood consists of a nine game slate that delivers a few prime time fantasy matchups to consider when building our NBA FanDuel Lineup.
One of those matchups features a primetime showdown in Cleveland where the Cavaliers will host the Houston Rockets. Along with featuring two teams that can score this contest also features two of the games top fantasy producers in James Harden and LeBron James.
Now the fantasy options won’t end with those two as other top fantasy options on Tuesday include Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard and DeMacus Cousins. That being said the big question for Tuesday Night is which fantasy bargain and sleepers should we pair with them to build that winning FanDuel lineup.
For us we could go a few different directions including stacking the likes of James Harden with Anthony Davis or stacking LeBron James with Damian Lillard. One thing we have seen from the early winning lineups in GPP tournaments on FanDuel is the fact that the top teams have gone with only two players over the $6,500 price tag.
Here are our NBA options we like tonight to build our NBA FanDuel Lineup around.
PG – Damian Lillard, Portland Trailblazers: We strongly considered going with Kyrie Irving as well at this spot. In the end it was just to difficult to pass up on a player who has posted at least 41 fantasy points in three straight games including two of those games over the 54 point mark.
PG – Matthew Dellavedova, Milwaukee Bucks: You could go a few routes here we went with the lower priced option but you could go cheaper at a few of the other positions to go with someone like Irving. In the end we like the Bucks point guard tonight as well as Sergio Rodriguez.
SG – Eric Gordon, Houston Rockets: Gordon will be one of those players who will be all over the board on most nights depending on how many shots James Harden elects to take. That being said we expect tonight’s Cavs/Rockets game to be a high scoring contest on both ends.
SG –Zach LaVine, Minnesota Timberwolves: Here is another one of those options we strongly like tonight based on his solid start to the 2016-17 NBA Season. LaVine has opened up the year with back to back 29 point fantasy performances while providing some salary cap relief. Outside of going with a much cheaper option at either the point guard or power forward position it will be difficult to go land a next tier option here.
SF –Marcus Morris, Detroit Pistons: One thing we know for sure with Morris is that he will see the floor for at least 30 minutes on most nights giving him a ton of opportunities to produce. Tonight he will look to bounce back after a down game against the New York Knicks.
SF – Aaron Gordon, Orlando Magic: Gordon is one of those players we would love to see take it to the next level this season. That being said he has stayed below the 30 point fantasy mark to open the season. This could change tonight as the Magic have a very favorable matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers.
PF – Anthony Davis, New Orleans Pelicans: Unless the Pelicans big man is hurt or out of the lineup he is that one option you want to consider building around night in and night out. Despite just 29 points in his last game against a very good San Antonio Spurs team, Davis is a must start tonight against the Bucks.
PF – Jon Leuer, Detroit Pistons: Here is a position we could use a little of that free cap space to go a little more expensive if you would like. We like Leuer who has delivered to 20 plus fantasy performances while costing in the low $4k’s. You could consider Al-Farouq Aminu or JaMychal Green.
C – Marc Gasol, Memphis Grizzlies: It was just a few seasons ago Gasol was one of the games top big man while landing one of the big offseason deals. After a disappointing opening game of the regular season, Gasol has rebounded with back to back 30 plus fantsy games including 37.5 in his last contest. Look for those types of numbers to continue over the course of the season.
