The NBA action returns tonight to open up what looks to be a very busy Daily Fantasy Sports week. Tonight’s NBA Slate offers us a pretty solid seven game line while delivering us some solid NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Options to build our lineups around tonight.
For Tonight the big concern is how many key Daily Fantasy Basketball options will be out due to injuries or illness. At the front of that list sits LeBron James who is currently listed as a game time decision after missing the teams last game on Saturday.
Here are some of the top NBA players who might not be available tonight due to illness, rest or an injury.
LeBron James (Illness) – Game Time Decision
Kevin Durant Durant (Injury) – Expected To Play
Joel Embiid (Injury) – Out
Kyle Lowry (Injury) – Expected To Be Out
Kristaps Porzingis (Injury) – Expected To Be Out
Each of these plays will play directly into some key fantasy option decisions including Lowry for us. If Lowry is out DeMar DeRozan is a must start candidate in both cash lineups as well as GPP tournaments. Over the past two games with Lowry out of the lineup, DeRozan has posted 53.5 and 45.2 fantasy points in each of those contests while providing over 5 time fantasy value.
While DeRozan looks to be the one lock in our lineup here our the rest of our NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Options for Monday February 27th, 2017.
Point Guards – Ricky Rubio & Cory Joseph
Since the All-Star Break Rubio has looked good for the Minnesota Timberwolves turning in back to back double doubles while posting 30.1 and 43 fantasy points. One thing is for certain and that is the fact that Rubio sees the floor a lot posting over 32 minute sin six straight games. Meanwhile with Lowry expected to be out Joseph is one of those sleeper options that not only provide us some salary cap space but also a big upside.

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Jeff Teague & Darren Collison
Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Malcolm Brogdon
Shooting Guards – Giannis Antetokounmpo & DeMar DeRozan
The debate could be made for both James Harden as well as the Greek Freak here at the shooting guard position. In the end we couldn’t pass up Antetokounmpo tonight based on averaging over 53 fantasy points a contest in three meetings this season against this same Cleveland Cavaliers team. Meanwhile we couldn’t resist slotting DeRozan at the second shooting guard slot as long as Lowry continues to miss action tonight.
Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: James Harden
Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Tyreke Evans
Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Gerald Henderson
Small Forwards – Harrison Barnes & C.J. Miles
After spending at the shooting guard position it limited us on what we would like to do at the small forward position. In the end we like Barnes as a mid tier option posting nearly 30 fantasy points a night while continuing to see in the mid 30’s in minutes played. Miles on the other hand is more of a high risk high reward option who has a very favorable matchup in a game that should see a ton of scoring from both teams.

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Andrew Wiggins & Robert Covington
Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Glenn Robinson III

Power Forwards – Serge Ibaka & Nerlens Noel
As both of these players get acquainted with their new teams they both have some true fantasy value on the floor. Ibaka who never really fit in Orlando has posted 25.4 and 38 fantasy points in his two games in Toronto while seeing the floor for over 34 minutes in each game. Noel on the other hand moves onto a Dallas Mavericks team that lacks a true big man which will open up his playing time. In his first game with the Mavericks, Noel saw 30 minutes on the floor while missing a double double by just one point.

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Draymond Green & Gorgui Dieng
Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Ryan Anderson
Center Option – Myles Turner
In a game that expected to be very fast pace and see a ton of scoring on both ends of the floor Turner looks to be a solid fantasy option a at the center position. While he isn’t one of those options that will post 40 or 50 fantasy points he is one that has turned in over 31 fantasy points in five of his last six games making him a very consistent play while freeing up some salary cap space.
