Nate Robinson, Gerald Henderson headline top FanDuel bargains for January 7th. Robinson who saw a solid performance against the Minnesota Timberwolves could be in line for another solid fantasy performance on Wednesday. While it is also a big gamble as Robinson has also failed to reach double digit fantasy performances in five of his last ten games.
The single reason we like the play tonight is based on the concern over whether or not Ty Lawson can play the big minutes he has this season. Lawson who bruised his knee in practice failed to finish the practice causing some concern on how well the knee will feel tonight. Currently Lawson is expected to go but monitor this as Robinson could go from a bargain to a steal if he starts.
Along with Robinson, Henderson is another one of those high risk reward type of players but that is exactly what you are looking for in a bargain. Henderson rewarded fantasy owners on Monday Night dropped 13 points to go along with three rebounds, eight assists, two blocked shots and a steal. That performance netted him 32.6 fantasy points as well as delivered some fantasy owners some cash prizes.
In his last ten games Henderson has six games with over 20 fantasy points including two with over 30 fantasy points. Henderson is also a great play given the fact that the Charlotte Hornets take on a New Orleans Pelicans team that is allowing the second most fantasy points to opposing small forwards in the NBA.
Along with Robinson and Henderson here are other FanDuel Bargains for January 7th.
Elfrid Payton, Orlando Magic ($5,200): Payton might benefit the most with an injured Ty Lawson covering him the entire game. The Magic’s rookie point guard has been fairly consistent all season posting at least double digits fantasy performances over his last ten games. That included a huge 47.8 fantasy performance on Friday Night against the Brooklyn Nets.
Thabo Sefolosha, Atlanta Hawks ($3,800): The Hawks shooting guard offers great value at a great cost helping you consider some of the more expensive options tonight. Over his last ten games, Sefolosha has put together a 33.9 performance against a very good Portland Trailblazers team along with eight other games with double digit fantasy points.
K.J. McDaniels, Philadelphia 76ers ($4,400): The 76ers small forward benefitted on Monday from the absence of Luc Richard Mbah a Moute. That could be the same case tonight as he is listed questionable dealing with what is considered a toe injury. Despite being part of a trio at the position, McDaniels has put up three 20 fantasy point performances over his last 10 games.
Mirza Teletovic, Brooklyn Nets ($4,200): Teltovic benefits from the aging Kevin Garnett who is consistently playing right under 20 minutes a game. The Nets power forward has registered five straight games with over 18 fantasy points.
Jusuf Nurkic, Denver Nuggets ($5,000): The Nuggets center has been red hot of late posting over 30 fantasy points in three of his last four games. While this won’t stack up against the NBA’s top centers it will however provide you with a great cheap option for only $5,000 to start at center.
