The Monday morning blues have set in for many but don’t worry you still have time to enter your FanDuel lineups for tonight’s Major League Baseball action. Tonight we are limited to just six contest taking place around the league including three National League contests, two American League contests and an Interleague matchup.

Since we are limited to just 12 starters the list of top tier starters are limited to just a few with the key names including Corey Kluber, Matt Harvey, Chris Sale and Cole Hamels. Outside of those four the one fantasy sleeper to consider might be Kyle Lobstein for the Detroit Tigers taking the mound against a Milwaukee Brewers team that has struggled for much of the 2015 MLB Season. The other Fantasy FanDuel bargain for tonight is Rubby de la Rosa for the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Kluber might be coming off one of the best pitching performances we have seen in a very long time in his last out. The Cleveland Indians starter went eight innings allowing just one hit while striking out 18 and finished with 30 fantasy points. That came after he had struggled since his first outing of the season but quickly made fantasy owners fall back in love.

Here is our MLB FanDuel lineup for May 18^th, 2015.

P – Rubby de la Rosa ($6,800): If you are looking for a gamble play tonight and one that many might turn away from that is Rosa. We aren’t sold on any of the top arms based on matchup and the ball park they might be pitching in. If you want a more secure option jump back up to Kluber against the Chicago White Sox. Rosa has five double digit fantasy performances in his 10 starts this season for the Diamondbacks.

C – Wilin Rosario ($3,500): Typically we don’t do a lot of splurging at the catcher position but we love Rosario’s play tonight against Cole Hamels. The Colorado Rockies catcher is hitting .333 against Hamels with two career home runs and four runs driven in.

First Base – Miguel Cabrera ($5,200): The former league MVP is red hot of late picking up at least one hit in five straight games. In that stretch, Cabrera has nine hits, one double, four home runs, nine runs driven in and seven runs scored.

Second Base – Jose Altuve ($4,600): Altuve has been one of the best hitters in baseball and we elected to jump on his after his negative performance on Sunday. Look for him to get back in the positive numbers tonight against the Oakland A’s. In his career Altuve has five hits in 10 career at bats against Drew Pomeranz.

Third Base – Nick Castellanos ($2,400): Looking for a FanDuel bargains landed us with the Detroit Tigers third baseman. Castellanos has had an up and down season but had hit in five straight games before his 0 for 4 performance on Sunday.

Short Stop – Freddy Galvis ($3,300): We looked at the Rockies/Phillies matchup for potential fantasy plays. Unfortunatly with Hamels on the mound we didn’t load up on Rockies and limited us to a few plays for the Phillies. Galvis has posted four straight games with at least 3.75 fantasy points as he gets ready for a series in one of the better hitter ball parks in the game.

Outfielder – Michael Cuddyer ($2,500): Cuddyer has not lived up to the contract the New York Mets have giving him this off season. That being said he does have a favorable matchup tonight against John Lackey. In his career Cuddyer has four career home runs in 25 career at bats against the St. Louis Cardinals starter.

Outfielder – Grady Sizemore ($2,700): We suggest monitoring the lineups late this afternoon to make sure Sizemore is in. If so he is a solid option at $2,700 playing a hitters ball park like Coors Field against a starter Jordan Lyles who has struggled of late.

Outfielder – George Springer ($3,700): Sticking with the Houston Astros landed us with George Springer against Pomeranz. Springer has seven contests with at least two fantasy points over his last 10 games for his fantasy owners.
