FanDuel NFL Lineup for Week 4 of the 2015-2016 Season

Fanduel MLB $5 contest 728X90

The NFL action continues to heat up as the bulk of week 4 gets ready to kick off on Sunday for Fantasy owners to cash in on. That includes daily fantasy owners looking for a chance to turn one chance into a million dollar payout on either FanDuel or DraftKings.

Now with that being said the question is which NFL players should we build our daily fantasy lineup around? Will Aaron Rodgers continue his early season success this weekend in San Francisco? Can Drew Brees find a way to play in week 4 while leading his New Orleans Saints over the visiting Dallas Cowboys?

As we start to break down the endless possibilities for week 4 we started by looking at which quarterback/wide receiver tandems could have a big time fantasy performance going up against teams that have struggled slowing down the pass. Luckily for us two of those teams face off as Eli Manning will look to lead his New York Giants over Tyrod Taylor and the Buffalo Bills.

Entering this contest the Giants are allowing a league high 335.7 passing yards a game while the Bills sit in second allowing 326.7 passing yards per game. This should make for an interesting situation, as both Manning and Taylor are primetime candidates to anchor our FanDuel lineup.

Other teams that have favorable matchups against bad pass defenses include the Chicago Bears against the Oakland Raiders (allowing 3rd most passing yards per game), Cincinnati Bengals against the Kansas City Chiefs (allowing 4th most passing yards per game) and then you have the Green Bay Packers taking on the San Francisco 49ers who are currently allowing nearly 285 yards through the air per contest.

In the end we like a few of those quarterback/wide receiver tandems including the connection of Manning to Odell Beckham as well as Andy Dalton to A.J. Green. Now before setting our lineup our one suggestion when building this week is to consider your play based on the type of league you are entering as a GPP you might want to take a little more of gamble then on someone like Rodgers while playing in smaller 50/50 or head to head leagues you might want to stick with him.

Here is our week 4 NFL FanDuel fantasy lineup with options.

Quarterback – Aaron Rodgers ($9,200): In the end we elected to go with the Green Bay Packers quarterback this week. Rodgers has scored at least 22.26 fantasy points in each of his first three games while throwing ten touchdowns over that stretch.

Other top NFL FanDuel quarterback options include Cam Newton, Eli Manning and Andy Dalton.

Running Back – Melvin Gordon ($6,800): We tossed around both Danny Woodhead and Melvin Gordons name this week as the Chargers running attack gets a chance to face off against a Cleveland Browns defense that has allowed the most rushing yards per game in the NFL this season.

Running Back – Jonathan Stewart ($6,300): Stewart has a favorable matchup in week 4 when the Carolina Panthers take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Our only concern early on during the week was Stewarts health situation.

Other top NFL FanDuel running back options include Latavius Murray, Carlos Hyde and Joseph Randle.

Wide Receiver – James Jones ($6,000): While the idea of stacking Randall Cobb up with Rodgers was a thought we like Jones at a cheaper value. Jones has 12 catches over the first three games along with at least one touchdown in each game this season.

Wide Receiver – A.J. Green ($8,400): Green is coming off a monster fantasy performance during week 3 against the Ravens. This week he gets a chance to make some plays against a Kansas City Chiefs team allowing 287 passing yards per game.

Wide Receiver – T.Y. Hilton ($7,600): We are still waiting for a big time fantasy performance from both Hilton and Andrew Luck. Week 4 has the making to be that game as they take on a Jacksonville Jaguars team that is allowing the 7th most receiving yards in the NFL.

Other top NFL FanDuel wide receivers options include Doug Baldwin, Odell Beckham Jr, Percy Harvin, Josh Bellamy (Fantasy Sleeper) and DeAndre Hopkins.

Tight End – Martellus Bennett ($5,500): Bennett’s fantasy value might not be as high as it would be if Jay Cutler was under center but he should be able to make some plays against the Oakland Raiders. The Raiders have struggled to slow down opposing tight ends this season through the first four weeks.

Other top NFL FanDuel tight end options include Jared Cook, Tyler Eifert and Coby Fleener.

Kicker – Josh Lambo ($4,500): The San Diego Chargers kicker is another great play this week going up against the Cleveland Browns. Along with the matchup the weather should also be ideal for any kicker to kick in.

Other top NFL FanDuel kicker options include Chandler Catanazaro, Dan Bailey and Adam Vinatieri.

Defense – Arizona Cardinals ($5,000): Despite not looking stellar at times this season the Cardinals defense is a perfect play in week 4 against the St. Louis Rams. The Rams are averaging a league low 274.3 yards per game on offense over the first four weeks.

Other top NFL FanDuel defense options include Denver Broncos, Carolina Panthers and San Diego Chargers.
