FanDuel Week 5 NFL Fantasy Football Lineup

Fanduel MLB $5 contest 728X90

Tom Brady, Peyton Manning set to carry the load for FanDuel owners during week 5 of the 2015 NFL season. While Brady is our clear cut first choice against a Dallas Cowboys team that allowed nearly 400 yards to a banged up Drew Brees last week. Just behind him we would put Manning at the quarterback position with his top five fantasy matchup against an Oakland Raiders defense that has struggled to slow down the pass this season.

Now depending on who you like more this week we suggest building a stack around that quarterback. For Brady the first choice is an easy one as we would suggest going with Rob Gronkowski. Now after him we would take a look at the wide receiver position as Brady has thrown nine touchdown passes over the New England Patriots first three games. One deep Fantasy Sleeper who has been a big disappointment since arriving in New England is Danny Amendola this week.

If Brady isn’t your guy this week and you elect to go with Manning you have a few nice stack options as well. The first one would be wide receiver Demaryius Thomas with a runner up going to wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders. The next option we like on the Broncos is the veteran Owen Daniels going up against a Raiders team that has allowed a league high six touchdown passes to the tight end position.

Now if neither one of those quarterbacks jumps out at you for week 5 a few other options could include Jay Cutler, Sam Bradford and even Joe Flacco despite not having a big time play maker at the wide receiver position. That being said here is our week 5 NFL FanDuel Lineup with other top fantasy options for each position.

Quarterback – Tom Brady ($8,800): We tossed and turned on the quarterback position but in the end we went with the Patriots starter. Brady has been red hot to start the season and we expect that to continue this week against the Dallas Cowboys.

Other top NFL FanDuel Quarterback options for week 5 include Peyton Manning, Joe Flacco, Drew Brees and Sam Bradford.

Running Back – Andre Williams ($5,400): Williams is a deeper fantasy option at the running back position but could be a player that produces while not appearing in a ton of fantasy lineups. That being said Williams did lead the New York Giants in carries during week 4.

Running Back – Le’Veon Bell ($9,000): With Ben Roethlisberger out we expect Mike Tomlin and his coaching staff to build a game plan around Bell. Bell has 55 touches over his first two games this season finishing with over 22 fantasy points in each contests.

Other top NFL FanDuel Running Back options for week 5 include Alfred Morris, Eddie Lacy and Justin Forsett.

Wide Receiver – Julian Edelman ($7,700): Whenever you take Brady you might as well load up with his prime receivers. Now we also like Danny Amendola as a fantasy sleeper this week we decided to go with one of Brady’s top options in Edelman.

Wide Receiver – Darren Waller ($4,500): Waller is an interesting option in week 5 after catching his first pass of the season during week 4. That being said the Ravens lack options at the receiver position with Steve Smith out add. Look for Joe Flacco to taget Waller including on deep passes as well as in the red zone.

Wide Receiver – Allen Robinson ($6,300): The Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver is slowly emerging as the top option among the team at the wide receiver position. This is also showing up in his fantasy stat sheet including posting 330 yards receiving to start the season.

Other top NFL FanDuel Wide Receiver options for week 5 include Danny Amendola, Kamar Aiken, Marquess Wilson (If Alshon Jeffery suits up go with him) and Dorial Green-Beckham.

Tight End – Rob Gronkowski ($8,400): Looking to complete the Patriots stack this week was an easy decision for us. The Patriots tight end has either posted 100 plus yards or caugh one touchdown in each of the teams three games this season while posting double digit fantasy points.

Other top NFL FanDuel Tight End options for week 5 include Owen Daniels, Maxx Williams and Zach Ertz.

Kicker – Matt Bryant ($4,800): We could have went with a few options here including Justin Tucker and Stephen Gostkowski. In the end the Atlanta Falcons offense has been clicking so we should see some points go up on the board in week 5 against the Washington Redskins.
Other top NFL FanDuel Kicker options for week 5 include Stephen Gostowski, Justin Tucker and Chandler Catanzaro.

Defense – Green Bay Packers ($4,800): We honestly didn’t like any of the defensive matchups this week as we still see a ton of question marks. In the end we like the Packers matchup against the St. Louis Rams despite the fact Todd Gurley is coming off a big game. We also thought about going with the Seattle Seahawks but again the Cincinnati Bengals offense is clicking.

Other top NFL FanDuel Defensive options for week 5 include the Baltimore Ravens, Jacksonville Jaguars and the New York Giants.
