The big question leading into week 8 of the 2015 NFL season is which fantasy sleepers will step up to lead their fantasy owners to a win? Over the past few weeks we have seen a few studs come out of nowhere including Stefon Diggs for the Minnesota Vikings.
The former University of Maryland wide receiver has taking advantage of the injury to Charles Johnson in the Vikings receiving corps. Over his last four games Diggs has posted double digit fantasy performances on FanDuel including at least 16 fantasy points in three of those contests.
Now as we start to dig deep to find a few fantasy bargains and sleepers for week 8 we started with matchups that could be high scoring. One of those contests could be the San Diego Chargers heading to Baltimore to take on the Ravens. One of the plays we like this week is wide receiver Malcom Floyd as a player that could reward you big while being used in a low percentage of fantasy contests.
Here is our complete list of top Fantasy Sleepers and Bargains for week 8 of the 2015 NFL season.
Mohamed Sanu, Wide Receiver – Look for the Cincinnati Bengals to make some plays against the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend through the air. That being said while A.J. Green might be the safe play look for the Steelers to game plan how to stop him this week. That leaves Sanu as a solid fantasy option including on FanDuel with just a $5k salary.
Zac Stacy, New York Jets – Stacy might be the biggest fantasy sleeper of the week sitting behind both Chris Ivory and Bilal Powell on the Jets depth chart. That being said both of the top two injuries are dealing with injury issues opening up the possibilities of additional carries for Stacy against a very bad Oakland Raiders defense.
Nick Foles, St. Louis Rams – While not your typical sleeper or baragin, Foles carries a low salary cap leading into the Rams week 8 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Along with Foles you could look to use wide receiver Kenny Britt to form a low percentage play on FanDuel.
Albert Wilson, Kansas City Chiefs – Wilson is a solid fantasy sleeper option at the wide receiver position for anyone looking to get into Thursday Night Fantasy leagues with the Kansas City Chiefs/Detroit Lions game set to kick off at 9:30am over in London at Wembley Stadium. Wilson has been targeted 12 times over the past two weeks while making six catches for 128 yards.
Charles Sims, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – We expect Doug Martin to field a ton of plays in week 8 for the Buccaneers. That being said Sims could be a nice fantasy play as a pass catching threat against an Atlanta Falcons team that has surrendered 62 passes to the running back position for over 500 yards.
Corey Brown, Carolina Panthers – The Panthers wide receiver situation is thin with the latest injury of late to Phillip Dorsett. That now leaves Ted Ginn as the number one option while Brown as a solid number two option. This week the Panthers offense should be able to make some plays against the Indianapolis Colts.
Here are the rest of our Fantasy Sleepers and Bargains for week 8 including Antonio Andrews, Teddy Bridgewater, Jalen Strong, Zach Mettenberger (Monitor Marcus Mariota status) and Jeff Cumberland.
