The holiday season kicks off with a bang on Christmas Eve for FanDuel owners to cash in on. This weeks Thursday Night Football contest features the San Diego Chargers traveling to Oakland to take on the Raiders. This game features a few key fantasy options including both Philip Rivers and Derek Carr at the quarterback position.

Along with those two a few of the other top fantasy options include running back Latavius Murray, wide receiver Amari Cooper and running back Danny Woodhead. In the first meeting, Carr passed for 289 yards to go with three touchdown passes while Rivers finished the game with 336 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.

The other three players also put together big fantasy performances as Murray finished with 85 yards on the ground with one rushing touchdown. Meanwhile Amari Cooper scorched the Chargers secondary for 133 yards on five catches and one touchdown. On the other side, Woodhead carried the load picking up 11 catches for 75 yards with two touchdowns to go with 26 yards on the ground.

Along with these fantasy options on Thursday Night, the weekend action also offers a few key fantasy matchups. One of those matchups features Blake Bortles taking on a New Orleans Saints team that has struggled to slow down opposing quarterbacks. Entering this weekend the Saints have allowed over 4,053 yards and 39 touchdown passes through the first 15 weeks.

Here is our week 16 NFL FanDuel lineup kicking off on Thursday Night Football.

Quarterback – Blake Bortles ($8,200): Bortles has been one of the more consistent quarterbacks in the NFL this season including four straight games with at least 23 fantasy points. Add in his week 16 matchup against a very bad Saints team makes him a great fantasy option.

Other top NFL FanDuel Quarterback Options include Cam Newton, Alex Smith and Ben Roethlisberger.

Running Back – Joique Bell ($5,300): Bell is coming off a solid fantasy performance in week 15 as he finished with 17.1 fantasy points. This week, Bell gets a shot at a San Francisco 49ers team that has allowed the second most amount of fantasy points to opposing running backs in the NFL. The 49ers allowed two rushing touchdowns to Jeremy Hill during week 15.

Running Back – Frank Gore ($6,000): While Gore has not been as consistent as he has over the past few seasons he is still a great option this week. The Indianapolis Colts running back has a pretty favorable matchup this weekend against a Miami Dolphins team that continue to allow big numbers on the ground.

Other top NFL FanDuel Running Back Options include Latavius Murray, Alfred Morris and Dernard Robinson.

Wide Receiver – Allen Robinson ($8,400): Looking to build around Bortles landed us with Robinson. While we could have went with one of the other Jaguars receivers we elected to go with Robinson who is putting together a big time season in 2015.

Wide Receiver – Pierre Garcon ($5,800): While Garcon has not delivered the big time fantasy numbers we saw from him a few seasons ago but he is a solid option this weekend. While many fantasy owners will turn to Desean Jackson we elected to go with the cheaper option. Garcon gets a shot to go against a Philadephia Eagles team that has allowed 22 touchdown receptions this season.

Wide Receiver – Antonio Brown ($9,300): Brown was a very easy option for us this weekend going against the Baltimore Ravens. The same Ravens team that has allowed a league high 25 touchdown receptions to opposing receivers and those numbers will go up as the teams top corner Jimmy Smith is dealing with an injury.

Other top NFL FanDuel Wide Receiver Options include Kamar Aiken, Jeremy Maclin, Jarvis Landry, Andre Johnson and Jordan Matthews.

Tight End – Antonio Gates ($6,200): Gates has been hot of late posting double digit fantasy numbers in three of his last four games. The Chargers tight is a great option at tight end against a very bad Raiders team that has allowed a league high 11 touchdowns to opposing tight ends this season.

Other top NFL FanDuel Tight End Options include Julius Thomas, Kyle Rudolph and Ryan Griffin (Fantasy Sleeper).

Kicker – Chandler Catanzaro ($4,900): This weekends matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and Green Bay Packers should feature a ton of scoring opportunities. This makes Catanzaro a great fantasy option this weekend.

Other top NFL FanDuel Kicker Options include Brandon McManus, Graham Gano and Stephen Gostkowski.

Defense – Houston Texans ($5,000): As we looked around the NFL we looked at teams that have struggled on the offensive side of the ball. While, Marcus Mariota has turned in some solid fantasy numbers the overall offense has struggled making the Texans a great option.

Other top NFL Defense Options include the Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions and the Seeattle Seahawks.
