The Monday Morning Blues won’t keep us down for long as we look to cash in on FanDuel tonight. The only downside tonight is the limited amount of NBA games taking to the hardwood. In all only three contests will tip off tonight leaving us very little wiggle room to not only build our roster but to find some nice FanDuel bargains to build around.

Game 1 of the three tips off at 7:30pm ET as the San Antonio Spurs travel to Brooklyn to take on the Nets. This is a game that we suggest monitoring the lineups as the day progresses through. In the past we have seen Greg Popovich elect to rest some of his veterans, in return that would open the door for a chance to land some nice cheap options.

The second contest tips off just thirty minutes later as John Wall will lead his Washington Wizards into Chicago to take on Jimmy Butler and the Bulls. While Wall and Butler are the top options in this contest the game features a few other key options including Pau Gasol as a more expensive power forward option while Gary Neal provides us a solid option at just $3,900.

The final game of the night takes place on the west coast as the Golden State Warriors welcome the Miami Heat to Oakland. This contest is right where many fantasy owners will elect to build their roster around starting with Stephen Curry. Curry who had missed back to back games last week has returned to his old self posting three 40 plus fantasy performances over his last five games including 61.7 just a few nights ago against the Sacramento Kings.

Here is our NBA FanDuel lineup for Monday January 11^th, 2016.

PG – Stephen Curry ($10,800): At this point no one should be worried about Curry’s health. That being said we all have to worry about the team jumping out to a commanding lead leading to fewer minutes for Curry down the stretch. That being said, Curry is the top point guard option tonight taking the floor.

PG – Goran Dragic ($5,500): With the limited options available at the point guard position we elected to go with Dragic for the Heat. Dragic has been up and down over the past week turning in two games with under 20 fantasy points as well as two games with at least 35. If only we can get that Dragic to show up tonight against the Warriors.

SG – Gary Neal ($3,900): Neal has the potential to be a solid fantasy option for the money. As long as Bradley Beal is out for the Wizards, Neal should get 20-25 minutes a night. If those minutes tick upwards of 30 we should see a big time fantasy game from him.

SG – Jimmy Butler ($8,700): As we have said a few times we expect some scoring to come from tonight’s Bulls/Wizards matchup. That made Butler an easy play after seeing the Bulls shooting guard post at least 40 fantasy points in five straight games.

SF – Luol Deng ($4,200): Deng is sleeper option tonight for fantasy owners as we look to spend a few more dollars on a few other key players. That being said, Deng consistently gets above 27 minutes per game add in the fact they Heat are playing one of the faster teams in the league should open up additional scoring opportunities.

SF – Jared Dudley ($4,200): While John Wall is the top fantasy option for the Wizards we are taking our pick on a few FanDuel bargains in a game we expect some scoring to come out of.

PF – Pau Gasol ($8,700): Gasol is as easy of a choice at the power forward position as Curry is at the point guard position. Outside of his 23 point fantasy performance in the Bulls last game, Gasol had turned in three straight games with over 40 fantasy points as well as six in his last ten games.

PF – LaMarcus Aldridge ($7,100): After spending cheap at the small forward position we stacked the power forward position. We do recommend monitoring the lineups as the day moves along incase Popovich elects to rest some of his starters. If that is the case you could look at Thaddeus Young or move some cash around to put Chris Bosh in your lineup.

C – Marcin Gortat ($6,900): We had the salary to take Hassan Whiteside but his recent injury concerns have us worried on the amount of minutes he may see tonight against the Warriors. That turned us to Gortat who might not be as dominate but he has not posted less than 27 fantasy points over his last ten games.
