DraftKings golf millionaire $1M Top prize 14-07-2016

The time has arrived for DraftKings owners to start preparing for the third PGA Major of the season. This time around the Golfers will head over to the United Kingdom to take part in The Open Championship that will get underway on July 14th at the Royal Troon Golf Club in Ayrshire Scotland.

Now for us we will be taking the next few days to examine how each golfer is doing around the game to help us put together a winning PGA Lineup that can cash us out a top prize of $1 million dollars. Today we will take a look at a few of the hot golfers on the tour leading up to this major.

One of those golfers who might be the favorite entering this years Open Championship is Dustin Johnson. Johnson has been red hot of late taking home the U.S. Open back in June before taking home the Bridgestone Invitation just last weekend.

The 32 year old American has competed in 15 events during the 2016 PGA season finishing in the top ten in ten of those events. Over his last five events, Johnson has finished no worse than 12th place while four of those tournaments he finished in the top five. To go with his two wins, Johnson placed 5th at the FedEx St. Jude Classic just one weekend after finishing 3rd at the Memorial Tournament to open up June.

Here are a few of the other ”hot” PGA Golfers leading up to The Open Championship.

Scott Piercy: Here is a name that might not be on any novice fan of the PGA Tour as he isn’t talked about like Jordan Spieht, Rory McIlroy or even Dustin Johnson. That being said Pierce finished in second place last weekend at the Bridgestone Invitational. This comes just a few weekends after he tied with Jim Furyk for second at the U.S. Open. Piercy has played in 18 events this year making the cut in 16 of those events including finishing in the top 25 in 10.

Adam Scott: Scott has been improving over the past few weeks something that golf fans should pay close attention to. Over his last five events, Scott has finished in the top 18 in four of those events. Add that to the fact he has finished near the top of the leaderboard at The Open Championship makes him an early favorite in the third PGA Major of the year.

Kevin Streelman: While Streelman has bounced up and down this season he does have seven top 25 finishes in his 20 events played this season. Since missing the cut back at the Dean & Deluca Invational in May, Streelman finished 8th at the Memorial Tournament, 13th at the U.S. Open and 12th at the Quicken Loans National.

Zach Johnson: After struggling the first two days at the Bridgestone Invitational, Johnson got it going on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday Johnson managed to fire off a 69 before finishing off the weekend with a 65 to bring him back to even for the tournament and take home a four way tie for fourth place. Johnson has made the cut in 14 of his 17 events this season while taking home five top 10 performances. Add in the fact he is the reigning Open Champion makes him another golfer we like as he has shown he can play in those windy and west conditions.
