The Daily Fantasy Football action is heating up on FanDuel as the NFL Schedule rolls into Week 3. Luckily for Daily Fantasy Football owners that NFL Schedule features a few primetime offensive matchups as well as a few matchups you might want to stay away from including what might best defensive matchup of the season in Buffalo as the Bills welcome the Denver Broncos to town.
While this weekend, isn’t a bye week it will however have one less game to build around with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Baltimore Ravens kicking off at 9:30am ET. Yes, you may still be able to cash in on that match up in some tournaments on FanDuel but we are paying our attention to the main slate including the $2.75 Million FanDuel Sunday Million that is paying a top prize of $1 million dollars to the winner.

Now before we get to our top NFL FanDuel plays for Week 3 of the 2017 NFL Season, let’s take a look at a few of the key matchups that feature offenses that you can build a stack around.
Carolina Panthers Offense VS New Orleans Saints
The same problem continues to haunt the Saints year in and year out, that problem is their defense. Entering their Week 3 contest against the Panthers, the Saints have allowed the most yards in the NFL (1,025), second most points (65) and most passing yards (777). While the Panthers will be without Greg Olsen, we still love their potential in this contest. Look to stack Cam Newton, Christian McCaffrey, Kelvin Benjamin and maybe even Ed Dickson.
Miami Dolphins Offense VS New York Jets
It’s going to be a very difficult week to look past Jay Ajayi despite reports of him being listed questionable. The Jets enter this game allowing 185 yards per game on the ground while ranking 1st in the NFL in points allowed with 33 per game. While they have been solid against the pass, we still see some value as the Jets have very little offense to help move the ball down field.
Here is our Daily Fantasy Options week like for week 3 of the 2017 NFL Season.
2017 NFL Daily Fantasy Football Options For Week 3
Quarterback – DeShone Kizer
Now we are going with the risky play this weekend, but love the potential upside for the Cleveland Browns quarterback. While Kizer is coming off a shaky performance against a solid Baltimore Ravens defense, he won’t have to worry about the same this weekend against a Indianapolis Colts team that ranks near the top in passing yards allowed per game (308 ypg) and points per game (31 ppg).
Other Top Quarterback Options – Cam Newton & Tom Brady
Sleeper Options – Deshaun Watson
Potential Bust – Drew Brees
Running Backs – Jay Ajayi & Ty Montgomery
Our biggest question mark this weekend is the running back position where we could go a few different directions. While we love the mid to sleeper options available, it is hard to look past Ajayi and Montgomery. Ajayi will be facing a very bad Jets team that has struggled to slow down opposing running games through their first two games of the season. Meanwhile, Montgomery has a ton of value both as the Green Bay Packers main running back but also as a pass catcher out of the backfield.
Other Top Running Back Options – Le’Veon Bell, Kareem Hunt & Christian McCaffrey
Sleeper Options – Jalen Richard, Samaje Perine & James White
Potential Bust – LeSean McCoy & C.J. Anderson
Wide Receivers – Antonio Brown, Rashard Higgins & Michael Crabtree
For me, I couldn’t resist putting in Higgins while also considered going with Kenny Britt as well to stack with Kizer. Now if you move your lineup around here you could go with someone like Mike Evans, while spending a little heavier on Stefon Diggs who we also like. For the rest of our lineup, we added Michael Crabtree and Antonio Brown as our other top wide receiver options. Brown will continue to be the key threat in the Pittsburgh Steelers offense including this weekend against the Chicago Bears. Meanwhile, Crabtree has become a red zone threar for Derek Carr bringing his fantasy value up for the next few games.
Other Top Wide Receiver Options – Julio Jones, Tyreek Hill, Mike Evans & Stefon Diggs
Sleeper Options – Kenny Golladay, Russell Shepard & Kenny Stills
Potential Bust – Odell Beckham Jr & DeAndre Hopkins
Tight End – Jack Doyle
Now depending on which direction, you move at quarterback you could elect to go a different direction here. After watching Ben Watson scorch the Browns in the middle of the field last Sunday, it will be hard to look past Jack Doyle as a lower priced range tight end with a big upside. Meanwhile Rob Gronkowski is always a solid option if he is active and you elect to go with Tom Brady at quarterback. Another option we like but hasn’t showed his true potential is David Njoku.
Other Top Tight End Options – Rob Gronkowski (injury) & Travis Kelce
Sleeper Option – David Njoku & Ed Dickson
Potential Bust – Delanie Walker
Kicker – Matt Bryant
This weekend should provide us with some opportunities to see some big-time fantasy scoring from our kickers as we expect to see a ton of points scored. One game we are paying close attention to for a few of the key positions is the Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions matchup. This game not only will be played inside, it features two teams that like to throw the ball. Bryant has five field goals and six extra points through the team’s first two games.
Other Kicker Options – Matt Prater & Cody Parkey
Defense – Miami Dolphins
On the defensive side of the field we like both the Miami Dolphins and Denver Broncos as top options. In the end, we can’t look past the Dolphins as they look to take advantage of a New York Jets team that has struggled to move the ball in the air or on the ground. Entering this weekend, the Jets rank 2nd in the NFL in fewest yards per game (242.5 ypg), 4th fewest passing yards per game (160.5) and 11th in rushing yards per game (82 ypg). Look for the Dolphins to be aggressive early putting pressure on the Jets playing calling.
Other Defensive Options – New England Patriots & Green Bay Packers
