Jose Abreu  headlines the Fantasy All-Star rosters for the American League. Abreu, who signed with the Chicago White Sox  is currently tied for the league lead in home runs with 27. Abreu isn’t the only rookie earning a spot as Masahiro Tanaka joins him on the American League roster.

Tanaka has been brilliant for the New York Yankees this season and has helped them stay in contention in the American League East. Tanaka has pitched to a 2.27 earned run average while leading the league in wins with 12.

American League Fantasy All-Star Team:

Derek Norris, Catcher: The Oakland A’s catcher has hit .306 with eight home runs and 36 runs batted in despite only playing in 65 games this season.

Jose Abreu, First Baseman: Abreu has been the one bright spot on the White Sox this season hitting .276 with 27 home runs and 69 runs batted in.

Jose Altuve, Second Baseman: Leads the American League in hits, batting average and stolen bases while playing for the last place Houston Astros.

Mike Trout, Outfielder: Trout continues to be one of the games best players hitting 20 home runs and driving in 63 runs to earn him a spot on the team.

Adam Jones, Outfielder: The Baltimore Orioles outfielder leads all AL outfielders with 112 hits while hitting .310 this season. Jones has also posted 16 home runs and 53 runs batted in for the Orioles this season.

Michael Brantley, Outfielder: Brantley leads outfielders with a .321 batting average and 58 runs scored to earn his spot on the team.

Nelson Cruz, Designated Hitter: The Baltimore Orioles designated hitter has put together his best start of his career leading the league in home runs with 27.

Masahiro Tanaka, Starting Pitcher: The Yankees prized off-season signing leads all of Major League Baseball with 12 wins.

Felix Hernandez, Starting Pitcher: Leads the AL in earned run average with a 2.11 with a 10-2 record.

Garrett Richards, Starting Pitcher: The Los Angeles Angels starter has a 10-2 record in 18 starts his season.

Scott Kazmir, Starting Pitcher: Kazmir has the American League third best earned run average at 2.53 in 18 starts.

Yu Darvish Starting Pitcher: The Texas Rangers starter has an 8-4 record while striking out 134 batters in 16 starts this season.

Zach Britton, Closer: The Orioles made Britton the closer after Tommy Hunter struggled and he as delivered saving 14 games with a 1.36 earned run average.
