Bernard Pierce should have an opportunity to shine for FanDuel owners in week 15. Pierce will still be behind Justin Forsett on the depth chart should see enough carries to make a difference in the stat sheet. The Baltimore Ravens running back is a great option for someone looking for a bargain or someone taking a gamble to win big money.
The Ravens take on a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that has had trouble slowing down the run this season. Entering this weekend’s contest, The Jaguars have allowed over 1,900 yards combined in the running and passing games along with 15 total touchdowns to opposing running backs.
Over the past three games the Jaguars have allowed 21.8 points to Arian Foster, 22.9 points to Rashad Jennings and over 20 combined to Trent Richardson/Dan Herron combination. Now Forsett could be in the mix but the workload could be limited if the Ravens get out to a early lead. The team will also be without rookie running back Lorenzo Taliferro who is dealing with a foot injury.
Here are some of the other top FanDuel bargains in week 15.
Chris Johnson, New York Jets ($5,300): Typically we like our bargains to be under the $5k mark but Johnson should be able to run at will against the Tennessee Titans this week. Despite failing to reach the end zone over the past few weeks we like the Jets running back to produce in week 15.
C.J. Fiedorowicz, Houston Texans ($4,500): Starting tight en Garrett Graham is out again this week making Fiedorowicz an option. The Texans take on a Colts defense that has allowed over 800 yards receiving and nine touchdowns to tight ends this season.
Marlon Brown, Baltimore Ravens ($4,500): The Ravens have been solid in both aspects of the offensive attack and we expect that to continue this week against the Jaguars. If the Ravens Torrey Smith is a no go due to an injury Brown along with Kamar Aiken ($5,400) will see the field opposite of Steve Smith.
Jake Locker, Tennessee Titans ($6,700): At the quarterback position it is hard to find any starter under $7k so Locker gets the nod this week against a very bad Jets secondary. Locker who replaces the injured Zach Mettenberger gets a shot at a Jets defense that has allowed 29 passing touchdowns to only five interceptions.
Terrance West, Cleveland Browns ($5,200): West got the first touches last week for the Browns and that should continue. This week the Browns take on division rivals the Cincinnati Bengals in a must win game for the Browns to stay alive in the division. Look for the team to use West in the passing game to help out fellow rookie Johnny Manziel.
Other considerations for FanDuel bargains include Terrance Williams (Dallas Cowboys), Doug Martin (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) and Philip Supernaw (Baltimore Ravens).
