The Daily Fantasy Sports World will turn all their eyes on the heavy NBA action taking to the hardwood tonight. Overall tonight 22 teams are in action providing a ton of Daily Fantasy Basketball options to build around including a few possible playoff preview matchups.
One of those matchups will feature the Cleveland Cavaliers traveling to our Nations Capital take on the Washington Wizards. This game features some of the top fantasy options at the point guard, small forward and power forward position before. This options include John Wall, LeBron James and Kevin Love while someone like Otto Porter has a strong potential for a big game.
While this contest features some big time fantasy options these are just a few of those options available. At the front of the list sits Russell Westbrook who is coming off another 50 plus fantasy performance while other top options include DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis.
Here is a quick look at the NBA Fantasy Basketball Options we like for Monday February 6th, 2017.
Point Guards – Eric Bledsoe & Yogi Ferrell
The heavy slate of games provides us with a bunch of solid fantasy options at the point guard position including building around Westbrook. In the end we couldn’t pass up Bledsoe based on his matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans while Ferrell should see extended minutes tonight as it appears Deron Williams will miss another game. Another option we could see us building around tonight is Brandon Jennings but only if Derrick Rose is out of the lineup.
Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Russell Westbrook
Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: D’Angelo Russell & Brandon Jennings
Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Michael Carter-Williams
Shooting Guards –Lou Williams & Dion Waiters
For us with no real top tier option on the slate at the shooting guard position opened up the door for stacking two mid tier options. While in cash games you will want to stay away as they both are a risky type of play based on their inconsistencies. That being said for GPP formats each of these guards has the potential to drop 30 plus fantasy points on any giving night. If you elect to shy away from Bledsoe you could turn to Devin Booker at this position as well.
Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: N/A
Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Devon Booker & Bradley Beal
Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Courtney Lee
Small Forwards – Andrew Wiggins & Matt Barnes
The injury to Zach LaVine should open up the door for more scoring opportunites for Wiggins as he looks to pick up the production lost. Night in and night out Wiggins will see 36 plus minutes providing him with a ton of fantasy scoring opportunities. Meanwhile Barnes has picked up over 30 minutes in three straight games while posting over 20 fantasy points in four straight games. Look for another 6 to 8 time fantasy performance versus his salary cap number.
Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Le’Bron James & Paul George
Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Otto Porter & Marcus Morris
Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Shabazz Muhammad & DeMarre Carroll
Power Forwards – Anthony Davis & Marquese Chriss
We like the head to head matchup between Davis and Chriss tonight in a game that could be a faster pace. For Davis he has five straight games over the 40 fantasy point mark with three of them going for at least 50. Tonight Davis will look to continue that trend against a Phoenix Suns team allowing the fifth most fantasy points to the position among teams in action. Meanwhile Chriss is another one of those fantasy options who has a potential to reward fantasy owners with 7-10 time performance. Chriss does carry a high risk factor but he has reward fantasy owners with two 30 plus fantasy performances over his last four games.
Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: N/A
Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Julius Randle, Kevin Love & Kristaps Porzingis
Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Darrell Arthur
Center Option – Guillermo Hernangomez
Despite not locking down the starting gig tonight for the New York Knicks we still like his fantasy value coming off the bench. The Knicks center has three straight 30 plus fantasy performances leading up to his fantasy matchup against a Los Angeles Lakers team allowing the second most fantasy points to opposing centers in the NBA this season.
Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: DeMarcus Cousins & Andre Drummond
Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Steven Adams
Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Dewayne Dedmon & Kyle O’Quinn
