Fanduel Fantasy NBA Lineup for Monday February 9th

fanduel nba-base-728x90 january 15

Chris Paul is set to carry the load for fantasy owners on Fanduel with Blake Griffin out. The Los Angeles Clippers were delivered some bad news before Sunday’s game against Oklahoma as their All-Star power forward would miss time with a stapf infection. The news as well as not having him in the lineup led to a 23 blowout to the Thunder.

Now without Griffin in the lineup coach Doc Rivers will rely on the teams veteran point guard Paul tonight against the Dallas Mavericks. The team could also be without power forward Glen Davis as well as shooting guard J.J. Redick limiting the amount of backups Rivers will have to use. This increases the rest of the Clippers fantasy impact including power forward Spencer Hawes.

Hawes filled in on Sunday and finished the game with 17 points but will need to add to the rebounding side of his numbers to help impact fantasy owners. Along with the Hawes and Paul we also like Jamal Crawford from the Clipper as well as Chandler Parsons for the Dallas Mavericks. This game has a very high over/under in Vegas at 208.

Here is our complete Fanduel lineup for tonight:

PG – Chris Paul ($9,400): The Clippers will lean on the veteran point guard with Blake Griffin out of the lineup. That being said Paul has rewarded fantasy owners with at least 43 fantasy points in three of his last five games.

PG – Stephen Curry ($10,100): Typically we like to stay away from two high priced point guards but couldn’t pass up on Curry tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers. Curry is been one of the most consistent options night in and night out with only one contest under 30 fantasy points in his last 10 games.

SG – Kyle Korver ($5,100): Korver has been up and down of recent but his value at $5,100 along with his upside makes him a great fantasy play against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Entering tonight’s contest the Timberwolves are allowing eighth most fantasy points per contest to opposing shooting guards.

SG – Jamal Crawford ($5,000): Tonight’s contest with the Clippers and Mavericks is one of those matchups that are expected to top the 200 point mark. That being said we looked at both Crawford and Monta Ellis but preferred to spend the extra cash on other positions.

SF – Kevin Durant ($10,700): Since his return Durant has put back to back games with over 40 fantasy points something that fantasy owner’s hope will continue. That being said we don’t see his name early on any injury report but this is the second game in a row and the team could look to rest him as he continues to deal with a toe injury.

SF – Chandler Parsons ($6,400): The Dallas Mavericks small forward gets his shot at a Clippers team that has struggled to slow down opposing small forwards. Over the last three weeks the Clippers are allowing the second most points to the position only trailing the Los Angeles Lakers.

PF – Kris Humphries ($4,700): Humphries is more of a value play at this pick with six contest over 20 fantasy points in his last 10 games including one 38 point performance against the Denver Nuggets. The Washington Wizards take on an Orlando Magic team that ranks as the third worst team against opposing power forwards.

PF – John Henson ($5,100): Henson has been brilliant for the Milwaukee Bucks of late as well as for fantasy owners. The Bucks power forward has registered seven straight games with over 20 fantasy points.

C – Spencer Hawes ($3,500): Hawes fantasy value might be cheap but his peak will be great as he fills in for Blake Griffin. The Clippers center/power forward scored 17 point on Sunday with Griffin missing the first game of what could be many over the next few weeks.
