FanDuel MLB Lineup for Tuesday July 21

The big bat of Albert Pujols came through for fantasy owners on Monday who will be the hero on Tuesday on FanDuel. The Major League Baseball action is in full swing on Tuesday as all 30 clubs are in action with some prime time matchups taking place around the country. This includes an American League East battle between the Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees that should include some fire power at the plate.

In the National League East you have the Washington Nationals welcoming divisional rivals the Mets to town. This matchup will feature one of the top pitching options in all of baseball tonight Jacob deGrom while the Nationals counter with a great fantasy sleeper option in Joe Ross. Ross mad a few starts this season while posting at least 18 fantasy points in June for the Nationals.

Other top options include Gerrit Cole for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Michael Wacha for the St. Louis Cardinals and Wei-Yin Chen for the Baltimore Orioles. At the plate one hot fantasy option is Albert Pujols for the Los Angeles Angels. Pujols belted a home run in the team’s day game of the double header before connecting on two more in the night cap.

Here is our MLB FanDuel lineup for Tuesday July 21st, 2015.

P – Michael Wacha ($8,500): The options are endless tonight but we elected to go with Wacha against the Chicago White Sox. The White Sox have struggled at times this year scoring runs something that should help his fantasy numbers. Other options we like is Joe Ross as a sleeper option as well as Chen verse a Yankees team he has pitched well against.

C – Matt Wieters ($2,600): We love hitters in Yankee Stadium and that helped us select Matt Wieters at catcher. Over the three previous seasons Wieters hit .324 at Yankee Stadium with 22 hits in 68 at bats including three doubles, four home runs and 11 runs driven in.

First Base – Albert Pujols ($3,900): Really don’t need a big explanation here as Pujols has been a hot/cold player all season. After his three home run day yesterday we elected to build our lineup around him tonight against the Minnesota Twins.

Second Base- Jonathan Schoop ($2,600): The Orioles second baseman might be the top option at second base tonight simply based on his salary. Schoop who missed weeks after hurting his knee has been red hot since the All-Star break picking up seven hits in 15 at bats with two doubles, one home run and four runs batted in along with three multi-hit games.

Third Base – Adrian Beltre ($3,900): Beltre and Nolan Arenado are great options at Coors Field tonight unfortunately we couldn’t make the salary work for the Colorado Rockies third baseman. That being said Beltre picked up three hits last night including two doubles and two runs driven in.

Short Stop – Jung-Ho Kang ($2,800): Kang is riding a seven game hitting streak that started before the All-Star break. Opening up the second half of the season, Kang has four straight games with a hit including his last two with at least two hits.

Outfielder – Brandon Moss ($2,900): Moss will get to face off against Matt Garza at Miller Park tonight. The Cleveland Indians outfielder has five hits in 10 career at bats against Garza with one of those hits leaving the yard.

Outfielder – Joc Pederson ($3,000): Looking for a power threat at around $3k is somewhat hard to do. That being said Pederson is due for another home run after his long drought since hitting his 20th of the season.

Outfielder – Ryan Braun ($4,600): If we elected to go cheaper at the starting pitcher position we could grab Mike Trout again tonight. That being said Braun is a great option playing at home at Miller Park which ranks near the top of ball park factors benefitting hitters this season.
