Strategies
The middle of the work with has arrived meaning the weekend is just around the corner. It also means another day filled with Major League Baseball action to build a winning lineup on FanDuel. In all 22 teams are in action around Major League Baseball tonight with the top starter available on the market being Matt Harvey for the New York Mets.
That being said sometimes a fantasy sleeper on the mound could be the answer to cashing in big on FanDuel. Yesterday we saw this with Chris Heston for the San Francisco Giants. The Giants rookie starter cost less than $7k for FanDuel owners to use but more than likely was used in the single digit of fantasy leagues.

Heston went out and shined for anyone that had him firing the Majors first No-Hitter of the season. The Giants starter also delivered a big time fantasy performance for his fantasy owners finishing with 30 points.
Now these types of performances are hard to predict but we also saw Eduardo Rodriguez throw a really nice game against the Baltimore Orioles. That performance would have been a lot greater for FanDuel fantasy owners if the Boston Red Sox could have delivered some runs.
In the end both of these moves would have freed up a bunch of salary cap relief for owners to grab a few of the other big time fantasy stars.
Here is our MLB FanDuel Lineup for Wednesday June 10th, 2015.
P – Brett Anderson ($6,800): The Los Angeles Dodgers starter has been solid for most of the season for Fantasy owners. Tonight he gets a shot at an Arizona Diamondbacks team that has just a .619 ops over 65 career at bats against him.
C – Caleb Joseph ($2,200): We suggest monitoring the lineup but we expect Joseph to get the start since Matt Wieters caught last night. Joseph is a great option at a cheap cost against Ricky Porecello tonight. Joseph is one for two with two walks in his career against the Red Sox starter.
First Base – Freddie Freeman ($3,800): We elected to toss Mike Trout into the lineup over Paul Goldschmidt tonight. That move landed us with the Atlanta Braves first baseman tonight against the San Diego Padres. Free has nine games with at least one hit over his last 10 games.
Second Base – Neil Walker ($2,900): This move was a simple one for us it was either Walker or Dustin Pedroia for the Red Sox. We elected Walker to free up some cash but you could go either route. Walker has 12 hits in 39 career at bats off of Kyle Lohse with five extra base hits and nine runs batted in.
Third Base – Manny Machado ($3,300): The Orioles third baseman has yet to really catch fire this season but has been producing a little more at the plate after his slow start. Machado has four multi hit games over his last 10 including one two home run game.
Short Stop – J.J. Hardy ($2,200): We are always looking for a few cheap options to anchor the lineup. Tonight we like Hardy against the Red Sox after picking up two hits last night. If Hardy can find his power stroke he is a great value play on most nights.
Outfielder – Andrew McCutchen ($4,700): In the end we ended up stacking the outfield tonight with some big time fantasy producers. McCutchen is hitting .311 in 45 career at bats against Lohse with three home runs and 11 runs batted in.
Outfielder – Ryan Braun ($4,100): Much like McCutchen, Braun has had some success against Charlie Morton in his career. That includes eight hits in 18 at bats with one home run and five runs batted in.
Outfielder – Mike Trout ($5,000): The Los Angeles Angels outfielder has been red hot of late picking up home runs in five of his last ten games while posting at least five fantasy points in those five games.
