Fanduel NBA Lineup for Friday January 23

fanduel nba-base-728x90 january 15

DeMarcus Cousins, Anthony Davis headline our FanDuel Roster for Friday Night. Cousins has bounced back for the Sacramento Kings in his last two games after missing the team’s contest against the Los Angeles Clippers. His production on the court has also helped pick up the slack for his fantasy owners posting 51.3 and 49.3 fantasy points over his last two games.

If you look back at his last nine games played over the team’s last ten contests Cousin might be putting up some of the best fantasy numbers in the NBA. Over that stretch Cousins recorded at least 31 fantasy points in each contest including three games with over 60 fantasy points. Along with the sixty point performances, Cousins posted three aditional 40 point fantasy performances, one 51 point performance and two 30 plus fantasy performances.

Davis much like Cousins has been a fantasy weapon this season for fantasy owners. Since returning to the court after a three game absence, the New Orleans Pelicans power forward finished with 51.1 fantasy. Davis finished in that game with 29 points to go along with eight rebounds, one assist and four blocked shots.

The Pelicans head to Minnesota on Friday Night to take on the Timberwolves. While it makes some sense to stack Davis and Cousins the down side is the abilty to spend more freely at the other positions. This creates a need for a player such as Robbie Hummel at the small forward position to provide some fantasy points at a very lost cost.

Here is the rest of our Friday Night lineup for FanDuel.

PG – Langston Galloway ($4,600): The New York Knicks rookie has been filling in at the shooting guard position and it has rewarded fantasy owners over the last two games. In that stretch Galloway posted fantasy performances of 31.4 and 29.5 per contest.

PG – Elfrid Payton ($5,900): Payton and the Orlando Magic take on the New York Knicks on Friday Night. The same Knicks team that has allowed nearly fifty fantasy points a game to opposing point guards over the team’s last five games.

SG – Evan Turner ($6,000): After a crazy season for the Boston Celtics, Turner has started to blossom after the key trades made by the team. over his last seven games, Turner has posted three contests with over 30 fantasy points along with two additional games with over 25 fantasy points.

SG – Kyle Korver ($5,200): The talk over the last few days has come with the video of Korver throwing  down a dunk in the team’s last contest. That being said Korver is a three point specialist who can deliver a big game scoring any night of the week.

SF – Robbie Hummel ($3,700): Hummel is more of a FanDuel Bargain type play giving us some much needed cap relief. The Timberwolves small forward has seen his time on the court including a few starts over the team’s last few games.

SF – Andrew Wiggins ($7,400): Tried debating should I spend some big cash here along with Davis and Cousins. Decided to go with Wiggins despite having access to LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant. Wiggins has been filling in at the shooting guard position of late.

PF – Anthony Davis ($11,200): The NBA’s best power forward had many concered after missing some time for the Pelicans. Now that he is back the fantasy production seems to have stuck around.

PF – Patrick Peterson ($4,400): Patterson is a FanDuel bargain type of player who is also on somewhat of a hot streak. Over his last two games, Patterson has posted back to back contest with over 22 fantasy points.

C – DeMarcus Cousins ($11,200): Much like Davis, the fantasy world cringes when they hear Cousins has an injury or will miss time. After missing the team’s contest three games ago, Cousins has put together fantasy performances of 49.3 and 51.3 fantasy points.
