The NBA kicks off the start of the weekend with a 13 game lineup for FanDuel owners to take advantage of. The action gets underway with three games tipping off at 7pm as the Detroit Pistons take on the Orlando Magic, the Los Angeles Clippers take on the Philadelphia 76ers and the Charlotte Hornets take on the Washington Wizards.
The one fantasy play we really like out of each of these matchups is Chris Paul taking one of our two point guard positions. The Clippers point guard has been brilliant over his last four games posting four straight contests over 40 fantasy points. The move to use Paul limits us a little on the rest of the roster but his recent success makes him a great start.
Along with Paul some of the NBA’s top fantasy performers are also in action including James Harden, Anthony Davis, Steph Curry and LeBron James. While all were great plays both Harden and Davis are steep salaries to team up with Paul at the point guard position.
Here is our complete FanDuel lineup for Friday March 27th.
PG – Tyreke Evans ($7,600): Evans and the New Orleans Pelicans take on the Sacramento Kings tonight in a contest set with an over/under of 205. Add in Evans matchup against a Kings team allowing the fourth most fantasy points to the point guard position over the past three weeks makes him a great play.
PG – Chris Paul ($10,800): While the other top point guard options include Curry as well as John Wall we elected to stick with the red hot Paul. Paul has posted four straight 40 plus performances for his fantasy owners.
SG – Kentavious Caldwell-Pope ($5,500): Caldwell-Pope is another great fantasy play based on the Pistons opponent tonight. The Magic enter this contest allowing the third most fantasy to the shooting guard position over the past three weeks. Add in his back-to-back 38 plus fantasy performances make him a great bargain at $5,500.
SG – Danny Green ($6,000): We continued to look for fantasy performers who have been consistent of late. That lands us on Green for the San Antonio Spurs as he has five straight contests over 20 fantasy points with four of them going for at least 28.
SF – Dorell Wright ($4,300): The Portland Trailblazers small forward is our FanDuel Bargain of the night at $4,300. While his track record might not look as good he has put together a terrific three game stretch averaging over 23 fantasy points. The sportsbooks have this contest at an over/under of 205.5 making it an intriguing contest to build from.
SF – Michael Kidd-Gilchrist ($5,900): The Charlotte Hornets small forward is one of those fantasy players that can frustrate all of us. One night he puts up over 40 then follows it up with a 12 point performance. That being said he has put together five straight games over 20 fantasy points making him a strong start with the capabilities to put up 40 any given night.
PF – Tarik Black ($4,000): The Los Angeles Lakers/Toronto Raptors matchup is set for a high scoring contest making this is a perfect contest to find some bargains in. That lands us on Black despite his inconsistent numbers he has posted back to back strong performances making his $4,000 worth the gamble to free up cash for other players on our lineup.
PF – Paul Millsap ($7,900): This play was simply based on the best player available for the remainder of our salary. That landed us with Millsap who has put together five straight games with at least32 fantasy point including a 51.7 total in his last contests.
C – Nikola Vucevic ($8,000): The Magics center has the third best matchup based on fantasy points allowed over the past three weeks based on the Pistons recent success. Vucevic has an opportunity to put up a big fantasy game tonight for his fantasy owners.
