Chris Paul set to carry the load for FanDuel owners on March 2^nd. Paul who is one  of the top two point guards in action is set to lead his Los Angeles Clippers team into Minnesota take on Ricky Rubio and the Timberwolves. This is exactly where we started our lineup at two with these two point guards who have both been very active for fantasy owners of late.

Entering tonight’s contest Paul has posted four straight games over 44 fantasy points including two stellar performances finishing with 53 fantasy points. Rubio on the other hand has posted back to back 40 point fantasy performances giving you a great value at $7,500. The other clear cut option at the point guard position is Stephen Curry but that would limit you what you could spend on some of the other talent on your roster.

In all fantasy owners have five games to build from including the Clippers/Timberwolves matchup. Of the five contests tonight three of them have over/under of 204.5 points or more. The lowest of the over/under tonight features the Toronto Raptors traveling to take on the Philadelphia 76ers.

Here is our complete FanDuel lineup tonight.

PG – Chris Paul ($10,000): It was a tossup for us as we knew we only wanted to go with one of the two top point guards tonight. We elected to go with Paul over Curry simply based on how much Paul has carried his team with Blake Griffin out of the lineup.

PG – Ricky Rubio ($7,500): To get a player who can post 40 plus fantasy performances for only $7,500 makes him an ideal play and some could even consider him a bargain. That being said Rubio is a player to monitor every day as he has had injury problems in his career.

SG – Dwyane Wade ($7,100): Tonight is a huge game for the Heat who can’t afford to lose any more games holding tightly to the seventh spot in the Eastern Conference. That being said we expect Wade and company to protect their home floor tonight against the Phoenix Suns.

SG – Joe Johnson ($6,400): We took a look at a few of the shooting guards tonight but liked Johnson’s consistency over his last seven games compared to a player who might have one big game every few games. In that stretch Johnson has averaged 29.5 fantasy points for his fantasy owners.

SF – Luol Deng ($6,400): Deng has a perfect matchup tonight going up against a Phoenix Suns team that has allowed the third most fantasy points to the small forward position this season. Tonight’s matchup tonight could be a high scoring contest that features two teams fighting for playoff spots.

SF – Gerald Green ($3,900): This is one of our FanDuel Bargains tonight but simply based on the possibility he could start if Brandon Knight is out. We suggest monitoring this game to see if he is in the lineup if Knight is active then consider going with Quincy Pondexter.

PF – Nerlens Noel ($6,800): Despite a leg injury Noels has put together back to back solid games against two of the better defensive teams in the NBA. Noel will have a difficult matchup tonight against the Raptors but we like his upside.

PF – Dante Cunningham ($4,100): Looking for value we have found it in Cunningham who has benefited from multiple injuries to the New Orleans Pelicans team. This has helped him to post three straight games with over 27 fantasy points.

C – Hassan Whiteside ($7,600): Whiteside will benefit tonight’s matchup with an increase in rebounds as Phoenix likes to move the ball up and down the court. Currently the Suns only trail the Golden State Warriors in Pace according to Hollinger’s statistics.
