The NBA action continues to roll on as we close out the month of March for fantasy owners. Tonight the NBA delivers a four game NBA schedule for fantasy owners to build their FanDuel lineups around including a matchup between two of the top teams in the Western Conference.
Chris Paul will look to help the Los Angeles Clippers protect their home floor at the Staples Center against Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors. This matchup is not only set up for a great game to watch but a potential high scoring contest that is set at 214 with the Clippers being the slight favorite.
We looked at starting both Paul and Curry in the same lineup but elected to go with Reggie Jackson for the Detroit Pistons to save us a few bucks. We expect solid fantasy production from both Paul and Curry in this matchup to help FanDuel owners.
Here is our complete FanDuel lineup for Tuesday March 31st.
PG – Reggie Jackson ($8,600): Jackson has been red hot for fantasy owners over his last five games posting at least 42 fantasy points. Tonight he looks to continue his success against the Atlanta Hawks. Another option is to pair Steph Curry with Chris Paul and look for a cheaper option at small forward.
PG – Chris Paul ($10,400): Tonight’s contest between the Clippers and Warriors is sure to be a high scoring contest making Paul a great option. Paul’s stock could rise if Blake Griffin misses tonight’s contest.
SG – Kentavious Caldwell-Pope ($5,300): We are still monitoring the Greg Monroe situation for the Pistons tonight. If Monroe starts he could lower Caldwell-Popes fantasy production. That being said we love his potential to put up 30 plus fantasy performances.
SG – Klay Thompson ($7,000): Typically we don’t like pair up teammates so that is why we elected to go with Thompson over Curry. Thompson could see an increase in production if Draymond Green misses tonight’s contest.
SF – C.J. Miles ($4,600): Tonight you have a few options for FanDuel Bargains and one of them is C.J. Miles. Miles has a perfect fantasy matchup tonight going against a Nets team that has allowed the most fantasy points over the past week to the small forward position.
SF – Kawhi Leonard ($8,200): The options are limited tonight at the small forward and Leonard is the top option. We considered going with Green for the Warriors but with no guarantee he will be in the lineup we elected to pass. Leonard has dropped at least 30 fantasy points in seven of his last 10 games.
PF – Udonis Haslem ($5,100): The early prediction is is Hassan Whiteside is expected to miss tonight’s contest. If that is the case Haslem is the man to start at the power forward position. We recommend monitoring the starting lineup for the Miami Heat tonight.
PF – David West ($5,600): West and the Pacers head to Brooklyn tonight to take on the Nets. The same Nets team that has allowed the third most amount of fantasy points all season to the power forward position. The Pacers power forward has been consistent posting at least 20 fantasy points in eight of his last ten games.
C – Tiago Splitter ($5,000): Splitter is a gamble play but he has shown at times he can put up some solid fantasy numbers. The Spurs center has posted four 30 plus fantasy contests in his last eight games.
