Strategies
The NBA’s 12 game slate tonight provides depth for FanDuel owners! After only a four game lineup last night fantasy owners will have 24 lineups to build from tonight including one of the top fantasy scorers in the NBA in James Harden. Harden and the Houston Rockets host the Los Angeles Clippers.
This is one of two contests tonight that has an over/under line of 210 or greater with the second game featuring the Phoenix Suns traveling to take on the Denver Nuggets. Along with these two matchups you can also find a few bargains around the NBA to include in your lineup tonight.
The one that stands out is at the point guard position with Aaron Brooks or Kirk Hinrich of the Chicago Bulls. Brooks and Hinrich both will see in an increase in minutes as well as a chance to be the leader over the next few weeks after word broke that Derrick Rose will need knee surgery.
While it is hard to say at this moment which of these two guards will see the court more it is hard to say. Hinrich missed the team’s games on Monday dealing with a case of the flu. Neither of these guys are a guarantee but for someone looking to cash in on a GPP tournament tonight they will both provide salary cap relief as well as a potential to put up some solid fantasy numbers.
Here is our complete FanDuel Lineup for Wednesday, February 25th.
PG – Ricky Rubio ($6,900): The Minnesota Timberwolves point guard has put together back-to-back good fantasy performances. In the teams two games after the All-Star break, Rubio has finished with 38.3 and 41.6 fantasy points in those contests.
PG – Kirk Hinrich ($3,500): Hinrich or Brooks is a great play at the second point guard position as they bot sit with a $3,500 salary tonight. We recommend monitoring the starting lineup as the day moves along to decide whom you might start here.
SG – James Harden ($11,100): It is so hard to not go with Harden when he is on the court especially after the way he performed before the All-Star break. After back-to-back solid performances after the break, Harden finished with 66.2 fantasy points in his teams last contest.
SG – Eric Bledsoe ($8,400): The Phoneix Suns shooting guard has put up a filled stat sheet over the last three games including 21 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists in the teams last game against the Boston Celtics. Bledsoe gets his shot at a Nuggets team allowing the third most fantasy points to the shooting guard position during this season.
SF – Tobias Harris ($6,200): We like Harris tonight after being able to play 25 minutes on Sunday the only concern is whether or not he will get back to his form before he missed the team’s last three contests. If he can do this tonight he will give you 25 plus fantasy points. This could be the exact play that helps a fantasy team as some fantasy owners might be wary of using him lowering how much he is being used.
SF – Corey Brewer ($4,300): The Rockets backup small forward is a potential big game waiting to happen almost any night. Tonight will be no exception as he gets a shot at a Los Angeles Lakers team allowing the third most fantasy points over the past three weeks to the small forward position.
PF – Zach Randolph ($8,300): Randolph is coming off his lowest fantasy performance after four straight games with over 33 fantasy points. That being said he only has two performances with less then 30 fantasy points in his last 10 contests.
PF – Glen Davis ($3,500): Davis is a FanDuel bargain at only $3,500 a move that lets you spend on a few of the higher salary players. The Clippers backup power forward struggled against a very good Grizzlies team in his last outing but posted back-to-back 20 plus fantasy performances. One option at this position is to go with a cheaper option then Randolph such as Nerlens Noel or Josh Smith allowing you to go for someone like Brandon Bass or Jason Smith with this spot.
C – Marc Gasol ($7,800): Despite dealing with being sick the Grizzlies center has posted back to back 30 plus fantasy performances. Tonight he will have a shot at producing against a Sacramento Kings team allowing the second most amount of fantasy points on the season to the center position despite having one of the top centers in the NBA.
