Are you ready for fantasy sports, as you know them, to change forever? FanDuel will make one fantasy enthusiast seven figures richer as part of its World Fantasy Baseball Championships event – a week-long celebration of America’s pastime featuring a staggering $5 million in guaranteed prize money. That’s guaranteed – as in, paid out no matter how many people enter.
The festivities kick off Aug. 12 with the $100,000 Tuesday Warm-up, a $25 contest that will net the winner a cool $15,000. That’s followed by Wednesday’s $100,000 Micro Championship – a wallet-friendly $10 contest paying $11,000 to the winner – and a pair of $250,000 contests Thursday: the Single Entry Championship, which limits players to one lineup, and the High Roller, reserved for the first 25 players to pony up $10,000 apiece for a shot at the top prize of $100,000.
Friday will feature the $1,000,000 King of the Diamond; with the King events known as FanDuel’s biggest single-day offerings, a $200 entry could be all you need to take home the $150,000 top prize. Survivor contest lovers will go nuts for Saturday’s event, which features both a $100,000 ($25 entry) and $200,000 ($200 entry) contest in which entrants must finish in the top percentage of the field to advance to the next round.
But that’s not all that Saturday has in store. Remember the million-dollar dream? It comes true for one FanDueler in the $3-million Daily Fantasy Baseball Championship Final. Seventy players will qualify through contests held throughout the season – running as low as $10 per entry – and head to Las Vegas for one of the greatest experiences a sports fan could ask for.

Finalists will be flown to Las Vegas and taken by limousine to the Cosmopolitan Hotel for two luxurious nights. They’ll also earn entry for two into FanDuel’s King of the Diamond and DFBC Championship parties and will have the opportunity to meet FanDuel’s top-secret celebrity host.
