Jeremy Hill set to make first start of his career lands as top FanDuel Bargain. The former LSU Tiger has showed at times this year he could be an efficient NFL running back including week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons. Hill finished that game with 15 carries for 74 yards and one touchdown. The first year back has 195 yards on the ground with three touchdowns and has added 131 yards on 13 catches.
The Bengals have a great fantasy matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars one that should include 20-30 touches for Hill in both the running and passing game. Hill’s FanDuel price tag of $5,200 is $3,300 less than the injured Giovani Bernard. For fantasy owners that were considering using Bernard this is a great fill in plus a nice additional of spending money for other key players.
As far as some of the other bargains for the week the other one that might become available on Sunday is Brandon Weeden against the Arizona Cardinals. Now on paper it doesn’t look good as the Cardinals are one of the top defenses in the NFL. The main reason he becomes a nice play is the Cardinals will turn their attention to stopping DeMarco Murray in return should open the passing game.
For now though Weeden is the backup for Tony Romo who is dealing with pain in his back after suffering a big hit against the Washington Redskins last week. Here are some of the other top FanDuel Bargains for week 9.
Isaiah Crowell, Cleveland Browns ($4,800): Browns head coach Mike Pettine went on the record this week and said that he wants to get Crowell more touches. The Browns also have a great fantasy matchup against a struggling Tampa Bay Buccaneers team. The Bucs have allowed eight combined touchdowns and over 1,000 yards to opposing running backs.
Trent Richardson, Indianapolis Colts ($5,900): Richardson did not appear on the Colts injury report this week making him a valuable play against the New York Giants. In week 7, Richardson had put together his best game of the year in total yards with 77 on the ground and 41 in the passing game but left with a groin injury. The Giants defense has allowed the four most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season.
Markus Wheaton, Pittsburgh Steelers ($5,900): All the attention has now turned to Martavis Bryant after his big game in week 8. This could play well for Wheaton against a Baltimore Ravens defense that is thin at the cornerback position. That includes the team’s top cornerback Jimmy Smith who will miss Sunday Night Game against the Steelers.
Kamar Aiken, Baltimore Ravens ($4,600): Despite the dropped touchdown pass early in the teams loss to the Bengals, Aiken should be part of the passing game. The team will be without rookie Michael Campanaro as well as possible tight end Owen Daniels. The Steelers will do everything possible to limit the big play to both of the Smith’s in this game on prime time.
Other notable FanDuel Bargains: Riley Cooper ($5,300), Jermaine Kearse ($4,700) and Austin Seferian-Jenkins ($5,000).
