Strategies
The Major League Baseball schedule is in full heat as all 30 clubs are in action on Tuesday June 28th, 2016. Even with all 30 MLB clubs in action on the weekend it is very rare that all of the games start in the evening making Tuesday Night a great opportunity to build around over 350 total options taking the diamond.
One of those options we love on Tuesday Night is the Cleveland Indians ace Corey Kluber as he will take the hill against the Atlanta Braves. While the Braves have showed some signs of life of late they still rank near the bottom in every offensive category.
Entering Monday this is how the Atlanta Braves offense ranks in Major League Baseball.
30th in Runs Scored
24th in Doubles
30th in Home Runs
30th in Runs Batted In
All of these numbers make Kluber look like a great option to anchor our daily fantasy lineup. Along with Kluber the other top options on the mound include Jon Lester for the Chicago Cubs, Zack Greinke for the Arizona Dimondbacks and Cole Hamels for the Texas Rangers.
FanDuel Hitters We Like On Tuesday June 28th, 2016
Giancarlo Stanton, Miami Marlins: After a rough stretch the Marlins outfielder is slowly starting to produce for his fantasy owners. Over his last ten games, Stanton has five multi hit games as well as two home runs. Stanton has also hit Mike Pelfrey well for his career picking up nine hits in 19 at bats including two home runs.
David Ortiz, Boston Red Sox: The future Hall Of Famer continues to produce at an MVP caliber this season. On Tuesday Night he will look to continue that success against Chris Archer of the Tampa Bay Rays. In his career Ortiz is hitting .379 in 29 career at bats with five extra base hits and 14 runs batted in.
FanDuel Pitchers We Like On Friday June 24th, 2016
Zach Greinke, Arizona Diamondbacks: We put Greinke right up their with Kluber as the top two starter options on Tuesday Night. Outside of rough outing against the Colorado Rockies, Greinke had turned in six games with at least 45 fantasy points over a seven game stretch. Add that with the fact the current Philadelphia Phillies are hitting just .141 against him in 92 career at bats makes him a perfect candidate.
FanDuel Fantasy Sleepers We Like on Friday June 24th, 2016
Lucas Giolito, Washington Nationals: Heres a chance to cash in on a rookie as he takes the hill against the New York Mets. The Mets offense has been up and down of late so it is a perfect opportunity to use Giolito when he has a solid $7,200 salary.
The Stack List:
Carlos Beltran/Brian McCann/Mark Teixeira: The three have combined to pick up 35 career hits off of Hamels with eight of them leaving the yard. Along with the home runs, the New York Yankees trio has driven in 26 runs off of the lefty.
Chris Davis/Hyun Soo Kim/Pedro Alvarez: We are going to ride the lefty stack against Erik Johnson on Tuesday Night. Last week Johnson was torched by the Orioles for six runs over just four innings of work. We would also consider looking at Manny Machado, Adam Jones and Matt Wieters.
Carlos Gonzalez/Nolan Arenado/Trevor Story: While the teams numbers against J.A. Happ aren’t impressive the team is still playing at home at Coors Field making them a great team to build from.
Edwin Encarnacion/Troy Tulowitzki/Russell Martin: Much like the Rockies stack this is simply based on the fact that the Toronto Blue Jays are hitting at Coors Field in a game that should see double digit runs scored total.
