Strategies
The Chicago Cubs look to continue their as daily fantasy owners look to cash in on Jake Arrieta. Arrieta who is coming off one of his worse outings of the 2016 Major League Baseball season will look to rebound tonight as the Cubs welcome the Los Angeles Dodgers to town.
Now for many Arrieta will be the key go to guy tonight as the top fantasy starter but the downside for others is the heavy $12k salary that he carries with him. That being said if you are looking to stay conservative with a starter who has been one of the more consistent fantasy starters this season than Arrieta is that guy.
Entering tonight Arrieta has turned in three 40 point fantasy performances, three 50 point fantasy performances and two 60 point fantasy performances over his first ten starts of 2016. In his other two outings the Cubs righty turned in a 30 point effort against the Washington Nationals before posting just 27 in his last outing against the St. Louis Cardinals.

FanDuel Hitters We Like On Thursday Night
Adam Duvall, Cincinnati Reds: It is hard to stay away from a player who is swinging a hot bat. That is the case with the Reds outfielder as he has turned in at least 18 fantasy points in five of his last eight games. That includes his red hot stretch over his last four games where he has three multi hit games and four home runs. Add in the fat he will continue to hit at Coors Field makes him a great option tonight.
Matt Holliday, St. Louis Cardinals: Sticking with players who are hitting in hitter friendly ballparks landed us with the Cardinals outfielder. Holliday has turned in three straight multi hit performances entering tonight including home runs in two of those games. Tonight he will look to continue that success at Miller Park that ranks fifth in home runs according to Ball Park Factors on ESPN.
Pitchers We Like On Thursday Night
Jake Arrieta, Chicago Cubs: It is hard to pass up Arrieta when he takes the hill this season as he has picked up nine wins over his first ten starts while pitching to a 1.72 earned run average. The other high end starter we like tonight is Steven Matz for the New York Mets going up against the Chicago White Sox.
Tyler Duffey, Minnesota Twins: Looking on the bargain end of the mound tonight we like the Twins right hander. Entering tonight, Duffey has been solid for his fantasy owners turning in at least 32 fantasy points in four of his last five starts including a 51 point effort back on May 15th against the Cleveland Indians.
The Stack List:
Carlos Beltran/Starlin Castro/Brett Gardner, New York Yankees: When we look for a stack we look at which stadiums teams are playing at as well as their past success against starters they might be facing. That landed us with the trio of Yankees tonight against J.A. Happ. The three have combined to go 11 for 64 with 11 extra base hits including five home runs.
Scooter Gennett/Jonathan Lucroy/Alex Presley, Milwuakee Brewers: Now this isn’t your typical power stack but it is one that should free up some additional salary cap space. These three Brewers have posted 31 hits in 72 hits against Mike Leake with three home runs and 11 runs batted in.
Carlos Gonzalez/Nolan Arenado/Mark Reynolds, Colorado Rockies: When it comes to a stack we love Coors Field as well as Miller Park. That being said we could have even threw Trevor Story into this stack. That being said Cargo is carrying this stack tonight as he has posted at least 20 fantasy points in three straight games and four of his last five while picking up four home runs over that stretch.
