NBA FanDuel Lineup for Monday February 13th 2017

Fanduel NBA The Great Wall 720X90

The 2016-17 NBA Schedule kicks off our work with an exciting 11 game slate taking to the hardwood. A slate of games that features a stellar list of big time fantasy options including two players averaging over 50 fantasy points a game while eight other players are averaging at least 40 fantasy points.

Those types of numbers give us a solid starting point as we build our Daily Fantasy Basketball lineups on Monday February 13th, 2017. One of those top tier fantasy options is Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors as he looks to continue his success he has had this season while averaging over 40 fantasy points a game.

The Warriors point guard has been up and down all season for his fantasy owners posting both big time fantasy performances as well as the occasional let down. With all that said Curry enters Monday Night’s contest against the Denver Nuggets with five 50 plus fantasy performances over his last seven games played.

Fanduel NBA 5 CONTESTS 15-12-2016

While Curry is one player to build around here is the rest of the Daily Fantasy Basketball Options we like for Monday February 13th, 2017.

Point Guards – Stephen Curry & Goran Dragic

At the point guard position we could have easily gone a few different directions but in the end we couldn’t pass up on either Curry or Dragic. For these two point guards they enter Monday Night facing off against two teams that rank in the top three in fantasy points allowed. Curry will look to take build on his recent success against a Nuggets tea that ranks second in the NBA in fantasy points allowed. Dragic on the other hand will look to lead his Miami Heat against an Orlando Magic team that has struggled against opposing point guards all season.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Russell Westbrook

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Mike Conley & Jameer Nelson

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Devin Harris

Shooting Guards – Devin Booker & Tony Allen

Now if you elect to go cheap at the point guard position or at the power forward slot it could open up the door for you to go with someone like Giannis Antetokounmpo or Nicolas Batum. While both look to be good options on Monday Night, Booker and Allen both offer a great value with great upside. Booker has topped the 35 point mark in three of his last six games while Allen has provided at least five times his salary number in three straight games.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Giannis Antetokounmpo

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Kay Thompson & C.J. McCollum

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Nik Stauskas & Khris Middleton

Small Forwards – Harrison Barnes & Andre Roberson

The idea of stacking Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook was at the top of my wish list. Unfortuantly the salary cap numbers limit our ability opening up the door for a few lower tier options at the small forward position Two of those positions are Barnes and Roberson who both have been solid fantasy producers. Barnes entersthis game with two 34 point fantasy perorfrmances over his last three games while Roberson continues to see 30 plus minutes a night opening up his fantasy potential.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Kevin Durant

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Marcus Morris & TJ Warren

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: CJ Miles & Rodney McGruder

Power Forwards – Anthony Davis & Frank Kaminsky

Building around Anthony Davis might have been the easiest of the fantasy options tonight based on his recent success and fantasy matchup. The New Orleans Pelicans power forward has posted over 40 fantasy points in nine straight games. On Monday Night he will face off against an up tempo Phoenix Suns team that ranks sixth in the NBA in fantasy points allowed to opposing power forwards. Kaminsky on the other hand has seen his minutes increase at both the power forward and center positions with Cody Zeller out. Kaminsky has posted over the 34 point fantasy mark in three of his last five games.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Nikola Jokic

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Markieff Morris & Zach Randolph

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like:  JaMychal Green & Marquese Chriss
Center Option – Kelly Olynyk

The final position to build around is the center position with some solid value from top to bottom. For us spending heavy at the other positions turned us to Olynyk despite the fact he is the teams second option at the center position. Entering Monday Night, Olynyk is coming off a 37.9 fantasy point fantasy performance against a very good Utah Jazz team. The other fantasy option we like on Monday Night at the center position is Marc Gasol who will look to take advantage of a very bad Brooklyn Nets team.

Top Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Marc Gasol

Mid Tier Fantasy Option We Like: Marcin Gortat & Dwight Howard

Fantasy Sleeper Option We Like: Dewayne Dedmon
