The fireworks will be going off on Monday Night with a few primetime NBA fantasy matchups to build around. In all the Monday Night slate of NBA Games features seven total games including a key matchup in Oakland as the Atlanta Hawks make the trip out West to take on the Golden State Warriors.
Before we get to our top NBA Fantasy FanDuel Options we decided to take a deeper look at the Monday Night Schedule. Of the seven games only two games feature an over/under line under a total of 200 while the other five contests features an over/under line over 213 including that Hawks/Warriors showdown.
That type of line has us looking at Kevin Durant as the main option to build our Monday FanDuel Lineup around. The Warriors small forward has posted back to back 53 plus fantasy performances while topping the 40 point mark for the tenth straight game. Along with Durant we also like the idea of adding Stephen Curry as well as Dennis Schroder as a cheaper fantasy option.
Here is the rest of our top NBA FanDuel Options for Monday November 28th, 2016.
Point Guards – Russell Westbrook & Dennis Schroder
As we looked at the point guard position we tossed around a few combinations that we really like one included Westbrook with Curry, one included adding Westbrook with John Wall and than their was this combination. For us it is nearly impossible to build a FanDuel lineup without Westbrook who has posted at least 54 fantasy points in six straight games. Schroder on the other hand has been up and down the Hawks will need a big game from him on Monday to keep up with the high scoring offense of the Warriors.
Other Point Guard Fantasy Options we like is Stephen Curry and John Wall.
Fantasy Sleeper Option we like is Sergio Rodriguez.
Shooting Guards – Jeremy Lamb & DeMar DeRozan
Now the shooting guard position is one of those positions where we see a few big time fantasy options including DeRozan as well as Bradley Beal for the Wizards. For us we couldn’t pass up a scoring threat like DeRozan to give us a solid big three combination. On the opposite end Lamb is a very interesting option as he has seen the floor in a limited role but posted a big time performance after the Charlotte Hornets lost Nicolas Batum to an eye injury. Monitor the injury report throughout the day to secure this move.
Other Shooting Guard Fantasy Options we like are Bradley Beal & Victor Oladipo.
Fantasy Sleeper option we like is Aaron Afflalo.
Small Forwards – Kevin Durant & James Johnson
Much like Westbrook, Durant is one of those fantasy options we just can’t pass up on night in and night out. While Durant was an easy option the difficult decision was finding a nice FanDuel Sleeper to offset his salary. For us that option is Johnson who will get a chance to see the minutes on Monday with Justise Winslow expected to miss the game against the Boston Celtics.
Other Small Forward Fantasy Options we like include Otto Porter and Jae Crowder.
Fantasy Sleeper option we like is Robert Covington.
Power Forwards – Markieff Morris & Patrick Patterson
Looking to take advantage of the matchups landed us with Morris and Patterson while providing us with some solid salary cap space. Morris will look to take advantage of a Sacramento Kings team that is allowing the third most fantasy points to opposing power forwards. Meanwhile Patterson could see some extended minutes against a very bad Philadelphia 76ers team.
Other Power Forward Fantasy Options we like is Kristaps Porzingis and Frank Kaminsky.
Fantasy Sleeper Option we like is Josh McRoberts.
Center Option – Joel Embiid
For now we are looking to go with Embiid on Monday Night but we strongly recommend monitoring his status. If the 76ers center is in the lineup he is a threat as he has posted over 30 fantasy points over his last four games including 41.8 on Sunday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Other Center Fantasy Options we like include DeMarcus Cousins and Marc Gasol.
Fantasy Sleeper Option we like is Zaza Pachulia.
