The NBA takes a back seat this weekend as the NHL All-Star game takes to the ice but it only increases the daily fantasy action on FanDuel. That includes on Saturday Night with a variety of tournaments starting at just a dollar that pays out a solid top prize payout.
Despite being the only fantasy action taking place on Saturday Night some people might elect to stay away based on the five game lineup of games on the hardwood. Those games feature the Denver Nuggets taking on the Indiana Pacers, the Brooklyn Nets taking on the New Orleans Pelicans, the Sacramento Kings taking on the Memphis Grizzlies, the Washington Wizards taking on the Houston Rockets and the San Antonio Spurs taking on the Cleveland Cavaliers.

While we are limited on the options at each position we are still blessed with a few solid options at the top of the list. The top tier options include DeMarcus Cousins who has four 53 plus fantasy performances over his last five games as well as James Harden who has five games with at least 50 points over his last six games.
On the cheaper side someone like Ryan Anderson who has seen his salary increase over his last few performances could fill in nicely at just $6,200. For Anderson to be a solid fantasy play, Antony Davis will have to be out of the lineup if you want the 30 plus fantasy points that night.
Here is our NBA FanDuel lineup for Saturday Janaury 30th, 2016.
PG – Norris Cole ($4,700): After coming off an impressive 39.4 fantasy night we have elected to go with the New Orleans Pelicans point guard. This move is simply based on Cole’s upside and his potential return of investment.
PG – John Wall ($9,700): Coming off three straight losses we expect Wall to come out fired up on Saturday as he looks to help lead his team to a much needed win. Wall has just one game under 30 fantasy points over his last ten games.
SG – Tony Allen ($4,700): We recommend monitoring his status after the veteran missed back to back games. Since those two games, Allen has turned in games with 31.9 and 23.4 fantasy points for his fantasy owners.
SG – James Harden ($10,200): Harden was simply to difficult of an option to pass up on for Saturday. While the Rockets star has the chance to turn in a dud, his ability to post games of 70 and 62 fantasy points makes him a top starter on most nights.
SF – Trevor Ariza ($5,700): Since the Wizards are struggling right now we have elected to go with a pair of Rockets on Saturday Night. Ariza is more of a tournament style option with his potential to post 30 plus fantasy games.
SF – Paul George ($8,500): Could we have found a way to work in LeBron James yes but we liked George’s matchup against the Nuggets. Now we all just have to hope he doesn’t turn in one of those 19 point fantasy nights that he has done on two different occasions over the teams last four.
PF – Myles Turner ($5,100): Looking at solid return on investment options landed us with the Pacers power forward. Over his last six games, Turner has turned in two 41 plus fantasy performances as well as one 30.2 point night and three other games with at least 24 fantasy points.
PF – Ryan Anderson ($6,200): For now we have elected to stay with Anderson on Saturday Night. That being said we strongly recommend monitoring the injury status of Davis heading into this matchup.
C – Ian Mahinmi ($5,000): While we loved DeMarcus Cousins as an expensive option and Nikola Jokic as more of a bargain type player we have elected to go with the Pacers center on Saturday against the Nuggets.
