The NBA Playoffs are just a few weeks away as fantasy owners look to cash in during that stretch. Tonight the 2015-16 NBA schedule delivers us a solid six game NBA slate to build our FanDuel lineup around.
One of those matchups we like from a fantasy perspective is the Boston Celtics traveling out to Portland to take on the Trailblazers. Currently this contest features the highest over/under line of the six matchups tonight at 214. Two of those options we like will be going head to head at the point guard position, as Damian Lillard and Isaiah Thomas are excellent options tonight.

Lillard has posted at least 30 fantasy points in seven of the teams last ten games while Thomas has posted 30 points in four of his last ten games and three games with at least 40 fantasy points. Along with Lillard and Thomas, On the bargain side Ed Davis is a solid option at the power forward position tonight against a Celtics team that is allowing the sixth most fantasy points to opposing power forwards. Davis has been on a solid stretch of late posting over 20 fantasy points in seven straight games including two 30 plus fantasy points.
Here is our NBA FanDuel lineup for Thursday March 31st, 2016.
PG – Russell Westbrook ($10,600): Westbrook is the top fantasy option among all the point guards on Thursday Night. With Chris Paul out we could not opt to pass up on Westbrook tonight.
PG – Austin Rivers ($3,600): The Los Angeles Clippers have elected to rest a handful of there stars including Chris Paul, J.J. Redick and DeAndre Jordan. All of these moves open up a possible fantasy threat in this contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
SG – Jimmy Butler ($7,700): We considered going with James Harden as the third member of the big three tonight. In the end we were able to go with Butler and Oladipo to give us more balance at the shooting guard position. Look for Butler to try to go shot for shot with Harden tonight.
SG – Victor Oladipo ($8,200): After missing back to back games the Orlando Magic shooting guard bounced back with a 26.6 fantasy performance for his owners. Prior to missing those two games Oladipo had scored over 30 fantasy points in six straight games.
SF – Kevin Durant ($10,600): We elected to team up the Oklahoma City Thunder duo tonight against a Clippers team that is resting key members of their squad. Another option is to go with James Harden and Will Barton at the shooting guard position as well as LeBron James in place of James.
SF – Nikola Mirotic ($5,000): How can we not go with the hot hand of Mirotic for the Chicago Bulls after his 41 point fantasy performance? While he is a gamble after that performance and the fact he will be going up against a Houston Rockets team allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing small forwards we suggest grabbing this value play.
PF – Dante Cunningham ($3,700): While we could have easily gone with Kevin Love or Thaddeus Young as the top options or even Jared Sullinger. In the end Cunningham is a solid sleeper with Ryan Anderson out and based on the fact he has posted at least 36 minutes in four straight games.
PF – Ed Davis ($4,600): Based on his matchup Davis is a solid bargain tonight for the Trailblazers against the Celtics. The Celtics are allowing the sixth most fantasy points per game to opposing power forwards.
C – Nikola Jokic ($5,900): Sticking with solid fantasy matchups landed us with the Denver Nuggets big man. The Nuggets will take on a New Orleans Pelicans team that has been scorched by opposing centers this season leading up to this game.
