Stephen Curry, DeMarcus Cousins will look to carry the load tonight for FanDuel owners as two of the top fantasy plays of the night. Curry who has been down the past three games due to be injured missed back to back games before playing just 14 minutes just two games ago returned to the floor last night against the Charlotte Hornets.

The Golden State Warriors point guard finished with 30 points to go with three rebounds, four assists and two steals. Tonight the Warriors head to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers in a game that Curry should be able to put together another big night. That being said we strongly suggest monitoring the basketball news throughout the day incase the team elects to rest Curry tonight against one of the NBA’s worst ranked team.

Than you have Cousins who many fantasy owners considered avoiding yesterday against the Oklahoma City Thunder based on his last performance against them. In the end Cousins rewarded fantasy owners with a 60.3 point performance finishing with 33 points and 19 rebounds. Cousins will lead his Kings tonight into Dallas to take on the Mavericks.

Overall FanDuel owners have a four game slate to build from with the other two games featuring the Milwaukee Bucks heading to Chicago to take on the Bulls and the New York Knicks heading to Atlanta to take on the Hawks.

Here is our NBA FanDuel lineup for Tuesday January 5th, 2015.

PG – Rajon Rondo ($7,800): Coming off an impressive 58.3 point performance on Monday Night, we expect Rondo to look to continue his success against a Mavericks team he spent time with last season. Rondo has posted at least 30 fantasy points in five of his last six games.

PG – Jose Juan Barea ($4,600): While we could have very easily gone with Curry tonight we elected to stay away from him since we made this lineup to early in the day to determine if he would play. That being said we went with a bargain option tonight to allow us to spread the wealth around to other positions.

SG – Jimmy Butler ($8,300): Since we stayed some what cheap at the point guard position we elected to go with the top two shooting guards on the board tonight. The Chicago Bulls shooting guard is coming off an impressive 40 point second half in his last outing.

SG – Klay Thompson ($7,600): Thompson is riding a three game stretch that has rewarded FanDuel owners. In that stretch, Thompson has posted at least 40 fantasy points in each contest. We expect that to continue tonight against the Lakers in a game the team could rest Curry after having a game last night.

SF – Andre Iguodala ($4,900): The Warriors small forward is another one of those bargain type players that could turn in a big game tonight. Honestly we could have gone with 3-4 players from tonight’s Lakers/Warriors game but stuck with just two.

SF – Carmelo Anthony ($8,600): Anthony is one of the top fantasy options tonight at the small forward position. While we haven’t seen many 40 plus performances from Anthony he has been consistent posting at least 30 fantasy points in seven of the last eight games he has played in.

PF – Jabari Parker ($4,400): Since we elected to go expensive with Pau Gasol tonight we had to go with a bargain as well. While Parker has been up and down for most of the season he is coming off a solid 30 plus fantasy performance in his last outing.

PF – Pau Gasol ($8,700): The Bulls power forward might not be the top option tonight he is though a solid option against the Milwaukee Bucks. Gasol has posted at least 40 fantasy points in four of his last six games as well as at least 30 plus fantasy points in eight of his last nine contests.

C – Robin Lopez ($4,100): One option for us was to go with Cousins against the Mavericks. If you like that play we could go with another bargain at the shooting guard position as well as a little cheaper at the small forward position. In the end Lopez is a solid fantasy play at a very cheap price point.
