The holiday cheer is just setting in as the NBA looks to deliver a big time present for FanDuel owners tonight. While the slate of games isn’t full we do however have 13 taking to the hardwood to assemble our squad around including the likes of Stephen Curry, James Harden and LeBron James to name a just a few.
As we start to look a little deeper at the list of games tonight we wanted to take a little deeper look at a few games that we expect to be high scoring contests that will provide us with some big time fantasy scorers. One of those contests we are keeping our eyes on is the Oklahoma City Thunder heading to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers.
Entering tonight’s game between the Thunder/Lakers is slated to have the third highest over/under line at 207 points. For us we are looking at building a stack around a Thunder team that should put up some big numbers against a very bad Lakers team who is coming off a game last night.

Last week the Houston Rockets were able to post 126 points against the same Lakers team that was on the second end of a back to back. Along with the Rockets the last three teams to face the Lakers on the second end of a back to back have all posted at least 104 points.
This makes both Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook a great tandem despite being very expensive. Other great options include power forward Serge Ibaka who has posted at least 25 fantasy points in four of his last five games including two of those games with at least 30.
Here is our NBA FanDuel lineup for Wednesday December 23rd, 2015.
PG – Russell Westbrook ($10,400): We were looking at a few options at the point guard position but it was very difficult to pass up Westbrook against a very bad Lakers team. Only concern is an early big lead could see both Westbrook and Kevin Durant to be rested down the stretch.
PG – Raymond Felton ($4,900): The Dallas Mavericks back up point guard should see an increase in minutes as we expect Deron Williams to miss tonight’s game after suffering a hamstring injury. We considered going a little more expensive tonight with someone like Brandon Knight or Jarrett Jack as well.
SG – Eric Bledsoe ($8,200): Despite struggling of late posting three games with less than 23 fantasy points, the Phoenix Suns shooting guard is a great option tonight against the Denver Nuggets.
SG – O.J. Mayo ($5,200): Anytime you get a chance to take someone against the Philadelphia 76ers you should look to cash in on him. Now Mayo might not get the consistent points and minutes but he has delivered eight games with at least 20 fantasy points.
SF – Kevin Durant ($10,000): Durant is nearly guaranteed to drop at least 30 fantasy points tonight against the Lakers. The Thunders small forward has three fifty plus fantasy performance as well as two forty plus outings over his last ten games.
SF – Chandler Parsons ($4,300): The Dallas Mavericks small forward is still working his way back to the type of player we saw at times last year. Yes Parsons is a big time gamble but he showed us just a few nights ago against with his 33 fantasy points that he can be worth every penny at $4,300.
PF – Kevin Love ($7,800): Since we went cheap at the second point guard position we were able to spend heavier at the power forward postion. Love and the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the New York Knicks.
PF – Marvin Williams ($5,000): We stuck with another fantasy bargain as we elected to go with Williams against the Boston Celtics. Williams is riding three straight solid performances including a 30.5 point performance against Toronto last week.
C – Steven Adams ($4,100): While we liked the idea of using Ibaka but we needed a fantasy bargain that could provide us with some salary cap relief. Adams might not post huge numbers but he does however give you a solid option to post 20 plus fantasy points.
