This is an interesting contest as fantasy owners will gravitate to using point guard Stephen Curry. While Curry is almost guaranteed to drop 30-40 points the only fear is the chance of him to get some rest time in the fourth quarter. The Warriors guard has been giving off the fourth quarter in five contests this season.
That one piece of information has us considering moving in another direction tonight while saving us a few dollars towards our salary cap numbers. Along with Curry the other top options include Anthony Davis, James Harden, Paul George and Blake Griffin.
Now as we look at some of information we have been building looking back at the winners of a few of the big tournaments yesterday. The top two lineups yesterday in the $75k NBA Swat avoided both Russell Westbrook and Stephen Curry at the point guard while avoiding any one player with a salary over $10k. The winner built his lineup around two point guards in the $7k range while the other one used a sleeper pick with Patrick Beverley.
That being said here is our NBA FanDuel Lineup for Wednesday December 2nd, 2015.
PG – Reggie Jackson ($7,400): Coming off his big 51 point fantasy performance, Jackson has another shot to produce tonight for his fantasy owners. Jackson and the Detroit Pistons have a shot at a Phoenix Suns team that leads all NBA teams in pace of play according to Hollinger Stats.
PG – Tyreke Evans ($7,400): After making his first start of the season on Tuesday, Evans is a solid option at the point guard position. Now we recommend monitoring his status to see if the team could elect to give Ishmael Smith some additional time. Tonight’s contest between the New Orleans Pelicans and Houston Rockets is slated with the highest over/under of all NBA games tonight.
SG – James Harden ($10,800): Harden is a easy option tonight as the top fantasy scorer of all the players taking the floor. The Rockets shooting guard is riding a five game streak scoring no less than 49 fantasy points in each of those contests.
SG – Klay Thompson ($5,900): While everyone could be turning to Curry tonight in this contest we have turned our attention to Thompson. Thompson supports just a $5,900 salary but can deliver big time fantasy numbers almost any night of the week.
SF – T.J. Warren ($4,400): As we started looking at fantasy options for tonight the Phoenix Suns small forward is a great option. Warren has posted a few big time fantasy performances over his past five games including two games over 36 fantasy points. Another option is to split the money used with Warren and Gallinari as well as the remaining cap money to go with a combination of Robert Covington and DeMarre Carroll.
SF – Danilo Gallinari ($7,100): Since we saved some money with a few cheaper options we could spend a little more at a few other positions. One of those is with this move with Gallinari who has not posted less than 22 fantasy points in eight straight games.
PF – Lavoy Allen ($3,900): Allen is a big time fantasy gamble tonight in a game that features two teams that like to move the ball up and down the court. That being said Allen has posted at least 20 fantasy points in three of his last five games as well as five games with at least 18 fantasy points.
PF – Kristaps Porzingis ($7,200): Now we debated a few options including going expensive with Paul George at the small forward position. In the end we elected to spread the money around with one of those options including Porzingis. The Knicks rookie has posted at least 35 fantasy points in four of his last five games.
C – Clint Capela ($4,900): Looking at options in tonight’s Rockets/Pelicans contests we could have easily went Anthony Davis but we can’t find a way to move the salary around to make it work. Capela has posted at least 24 fantasy points in four of his last five contests.
