This week 13 cash game lineup takes advantage of value. Here is the weekly plan for $20 worth of cash game entries: 14 $1 Head to Head games, 3 $1 3 man leagues, 2 $1 5 man leagues, and 1 $1 GPP. This is a safe cash game lineup. Monitor late breaking news on Sunday morning and take advantage of late swap on Draftkings.
Cash Game Lineup:
QB Jay Cutler $5100
RB David Johnson $3400
RB Jonathan Stewart $5300
WR Odell Beckham Jr. $8900
WR Alshon Jeffrey $6900
WR Jarvis Landry $6700
TE Scott Chandler $2500
WR Antonio Brown $8600
Quarterback Breakdown:
Jay Cutler has a great matchup on paper, all the numbers are in his favor and he has a high projected ceiling so paying off his cost should not be a problem. Cutler’s Chicago Bears play at home vs the San Francisco 49ers. Although Chicago is the windy city and weather this week was treacherous, the forecast for Sunday is 45 degrees and 6 mph winds. Cutler has a bunch of his weapons back in the mix. Matt Forte is back and splitting the backfield duties with Jeremy Langford. Alshon Jeffrey and his double digit target average are also back as is TE Marcellus Bennett who wants a bigger part in the offense. The San Francisco defense has extreme splits for home and road games. The road totals favor Cutler since San Francisco has given up point totals of 47, 43, 30, 29, and 27 points. This defense is also giving up over 22 fantasy points per game to opposing QBs on the road so that would put Cutler at 4 times value.
Running Back Breakdown:
These two RB options are solid cash game values expected to receive 20 carries and a few more touches out of the backfield in the passing game. Jonathan Stewart gets a quality matchup with the New Orleans Saints which currently ranks as the worst fantasy defense in the NFL. The Saints have given up 488 rushing yards over the past 3 games. Stewart leads the league is red zone carries and in 4th quarter carries which in important considering Carolina is 7 point favorites and could be running out the clock late in the game. David Johnson finally gets his chance to be the lead back in Arizona. He plays the St. Louis defense who is highly ranked overall but is middle of the road vs the RB when considering fantasy points allowed to the position. Johnson’s price is too good not to take advantage of as he’s sure to get a heavy workload and is a very good receiver out of the backfield. The Rams allow the 4th most receptions to running backs in the league. Johnson has scored 7 TDs on his 50+ touches this season.
Wide Receiver Breakdown:
Four WRs were selected this week for the 3 WR slots and the FLEX spot. Odell Beckham Jr. has over 100 yards receiving in 4 straight games and has 7 games this season with over 20 fantasy points. The Jets look like they will be without Revis this week and have other injuries in their secondary. The Giants are at home dogs although both teams play their home games in Metlife Stadium. Alshon Jeffrey completes the stack with Jay Cutler. The Bears projected team total is 25 points this week and Jeffrey should be very involved in reaching that number. Expect to see double digit targets for Jeffrey again this week. Jarvis Landry is the epitome of a safe cash game WR in PPR formats. His floor is safe, he leads the NFL with 13 targets inside the 10 yard line and is averaging over 12 targets in the last 4 games. Antonio Brown is in the FLEX spot for 2 reasons. Most importantly he has the latest game of the 4 WRs so incase a swap needs to be made you keep that flexibility. The other reason is in case Ben Roethlisberger is ruled out you can switch to DeAndre Hopkins. Brown is a PPR machine with Big Ben and although the Steelers spread the wealth on offense they are averaging 531 yards per game over their last 3 games.
Tight End Breakdown:
Scott Chandler’s price was too low to pass up. He is sure to hit value and has the possibility of a high floor with Gronk out and Amendola a game time decision. Brady targeted Chandler a team high 11 times last week vs Denver and he scored a TD. New England’s team total of 29.5 points this week is the highest total of week 13 and Chandler should be very involved in the passing game vs a Philadelphia defense who has surrendered 11 TDs in the last 2 weeks.
