A.J. Green, Jeremy Hill look to headline our FanDuel Lineup as the Cincinnati Bengals look to continue their success on Thursday Night Football. Entering tonight’s contest against the Cleveland Browns the Bengals are one of four remaining undefeated teams left in the NFL.
As we started to look a little deeper into tonight’s Thursday Night Football contest the more we started to like both Green and Hill. For Hill he gets a chance to take advantage of a very bad Browns run defense. Through the first eight weeks the Browns are allowing the second most fantasy points to the running back position according to ESPN.
Along with Hill, Green should also have a great shot at some big time fantasy numbers. Last week the Browns defense allowed 374 total receiving yards including 106 to Michael Floyd, 84 to Larry Fitzgerald and 70 to J.J. Nelson. Add in the fact Green is coming off his second biggest yardage game of the season makes him a great start.
The third option to build our weekly FanDuel lineup for Thursday Night is quarterback Andy Dalton. In the end we elected to stay away from the Bengals quarterback simply based on a few of the other top quarterback fantasy plays over the weekend.
Here is our NFL FanDuel Lineup for Thursday Night Football.
Quarterback – Marcus Mariota ($7,100): After watching Eli Manning and Drew Brees put on a passing show last weekend it was hard not to consider this play. Now at this point it is a gamble play since he is listed questionable but if he plays it could be a rewarding pay off. If you elect to stay away from Mariota you could go cheaper than Beckham to upgrade to another fantasy quarterback.
Other top NFL FanDuel Quarterback Options include Tom Brady, Andy Dalton and Eli Manning.
Running Back – Jeremy Hill ($6,800): Looking at tonight’s matchup we love Hill at the running back spot against a Browns defense that has struggled for most of the season.
Running Back – DeMarco Murray ($7,500): Murray gets a chance to return to Dallas to take on the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Prior to last week, Murray had been hot putting up back to back 20 plus fantasy performances. Another option is Devonta Freeman but we would have to go cheaper at one of the two top wide receiver spots.
Other top NFL FanDuel Running Back Options include Devonta Freeman, Jeremy Langford (Fantasy Sleeper) and Doug Martin.
Wide Receiver – Odell Beckham Jr ($9,000): Beckham is coming off a monster fantasy performance last week. This week Beckham has another chance at a big game going up against a Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense that has allowed 11 touchdown receptions to the tight end position.
Wide Receiver – Dorial Green-Beckham ($4,900): Beckham is one of our key FanDuel Sleepers for the week. The rookie receiver should see an increase workload with top option Kendall Wright doubtful to play this weekend against the Saints.
Wide Receiver – A.J. Green ($8,500): We love Green’s fantasy play tonight against the Browns. Now that being said you could also look to a few cheaper options in this contest as well including Marvin Jones.
Other top NFL FanDuel Wide Receiver Options include Julio Jones, Alshon Jeffery, Malcom Floyd, Antonio Brown, Mike Evans and Danny Amendola.
Tight End – Antonio Gates ($6,000): We are going against the normal this weekend and elected to go with Gates. Now we also love Rob Gronkowski this week as well but liked the savings Gates delivers. Gates has a favorable matchup on Monday Night Football against a Chicago Bears team that ranks 29th on defense.
Other top NFL FanDuel Tight End Options include Heath Miller, Rob Gronkowski and Greg Olsen.
Kicker – Josh Brown ($4,800): We could have easily went with Stephen Gostkowski for the New England Patriots as well. In the end we expect the New York Giants/Tampa Bay Buccaneers to be a high scoring contest making Brown a viable option.
Other top NFL FanDuel Kicker Options include Nick Folk, Robbie Gould and Josh Lambo.
Defense – Atlanta Falcons ($4,900): This week we didn’t have a ton of fantasy options on the defense. The Falcons have a favorable matchup against a struggling San Francisco 49ers team that has elected to move on to Blaine Gabbert at quarterback.
Other top NFL Defense Options include Cincinnati Bengals, St. Louis Rams and the New England Patriots.
