The 12th week of the 2015 NFL season has come to an end as the playoffs slowly approaches. For FanDuel owners its just another week in the books and just another day to start looking at another NFL FanDuel lineup for week 13. This week the action gets underway with an NFC North showdown on Thursday Night Football.
That contest features the Green Bay Packers traveling to Detroit to take on the Lions. A few weeks back this contest looked like another bad contest as the Lions were struggling while the Packers were running away with the division. Since that point the Packers have lost four of their last five games while the Lions have won their last three games including a 18-16 win over the Packers.
For us this contest features a few big time fantasy options with our top option coming with quarterback Matthew Stafford. Stafford is riding back to back games over 20 fantasy points including a big time fantasy performance on Thanksgiving. Along with Stafford, Calvin Johnson is another great fantasy option after his three touchdown game on Thanksgiving.
Here is our NFL FanDuel Lineup for Week 13 of the 2015 NFL Season kicking off on Thursday Night.
Quarterback – Matthew Stafford ($8,500): Stafford is coming off his second 34 plus fantasy performance of the 2015 NFL season. The Lions quarterback will more than likely be looked past as fantasy owners look at a few top options. The second quarterback that we could very easily go with is Tom Brady for the New England Patriots.
Other top NFL FanDuel Quarterback Options include Tom Brady, Andy Dalton and Cam Newton.
Running Back – Javorius Allen ($6,800): Allen is a solid option for a third straight week after posting back to back double digit fantasy performances. This week Allen gets a great shot at a Miami Dolphins team that is allowing the third most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season.
Running Back – LeGarrette Blount ($6,900): After a disappointing showing on Sunday Night against a very good Denver Broncos team. Blount has a very good shot at a big time fantasy performance against a struggling Philadelphia Eagles defense.
Other top NFL FanDuel Running Back Options include C.J. Anderson (We expect him to be used in a high percentage of leagues), Matt Forte and Jonathan Stewart.
Wide Receiver – Calvin Johnson ($8,500): As we stated above this weekend makes it very easy to team Johnson up with Stafford on Thursday Night Football. Along with Johnson, we could also look to Golden Tate as a cheaper fantasy option.
Wide Receiver – Julio Jones ($9,200): Jones is on a fast track to break the receiving record this season. The Atlanta Falcons receiver has posted at least double digit fantasy numbers in six of his last seven games including a 26 point fantasy performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers back on November 1st.
Wide Receiver – Marvin Jones ($5,200): We could wiggle our fantasy numbers around to possible go with another big time option at the wide receiver position. That being said we love both Jones and A.J. Green this weekend against the Cleveland Browns.
Other top NFL FanDuel Wide Receiver Options include Kamar Aiken, Danny Amendola (Monitor Injury Status), Jarvis Landry, T.Y. Hilton, Antonio Brown and Odell Beckham Jr.
Tight End –Scott Chandler ($5,300): Look for Brady to continue to spread the ball around but Chandler is a great option coming off touchdown grabs in two of his last three games. Add in the fact Rob Gronkowski will be out of the lineup this weekend raises Chandler’s status.
Other top NFL FanDuel Tight End Options include Greg Olsen, Travis Kelce and Julius Thomas.
Kicker – Justin Tucker ($4,900): The Baltimore Ravens kicker is coming off three double digit fantasy performances over his last four games. This week the Ravens take on a Miami Dolphins team that has struggled to slow down opposing offenses this season.
Other top NFL FanDuel Kicker Options include Carlos Santos, Graham Gano and Stephen Gostkowski.
Defense – Cincinnati Bengals ($5,100): Look for the Bengals to take advantage of their AFC North matchup with the Cleveland Browns. The Browns have struggled all season and that showed up giving up three special teams/defensive touchdowns on Monday Night Football.
Other top NFL Defense Options include Jacksonville Jaguars, Arizona Cardinals and Chicago Bears.
