Shaun Hill set for prime time fantasy performance on Thursday Night Football. The veteran quarterback will look to lead his St. Louis Rams over the Arizona Cardinals at home to kick off week 15 of the NFL season. Now for all you season long owners you might want to consider or even Jared Cook but for you daily fantasy owners Hill could deliver big money this week.
Now that being said the whole concept of building around a cheaper quarterback in the daily leagues have worked out for owners this season. Just take a look back two weeks ago when Ryan Fitzpatrick tossed six touchdown passes for the Houston Texans. The Texans quarterback was owned less than five percent in leagues on both DraftKings and FanDuel.
Over the last two weeks Hill has posted some solid numbers throwing for at least two touchdowns in each game with at least 180 yards passing. The downside has been how well the St. Louis Rams defense has played limiting the chances or opportunities for Hill to pass.
Hill isn’t the only fantasy star to look at tomorrow night as both teams have a few players who could put up big fantasy numbers. Here are a few players to consider for fantasy taking the field on Thursday Night Football.
Jared Cook, St. Louis Rams: Cook has been up and down all season but has played well with Hill behind center. Last week Cook delivered four catches for 61 yards along with two touchdowns. The Cardinals defense has allowed the most receiving yards to opposing tight ends this season along with six touchdown receptions.
Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals: The Cardinals top wide receiver has not had that big fantasy season we all have come to expect from him. This week Fitzgerald along with John Brown and Michael Floyd all have an opportunity to make some plays against a very solid Rams defense.
Tre Mason, St. Louis Rams: Mason had a down week last week but we expect the Rams to give him the ball early and often to limit the Cardinals offensive opportunities. In his first appearance against the Cardinals, Mason rushed for 48 yards on the ground along with four catches for 33 yards
Stedman Bailey, St. Louis Rams: The former West Virginia wide receiver pulled in two catches last week after posting five catches for 100 yards in week 13. Look for Jeff Fisher to get Bailey and teammate Tavon Austin involved early including using multiple variations of a screen play.
Chandler Catanzaro, Arizona Cardinals: The rookie kicker has been solid this season kicking 22 of 26 field goals. That success should continue tomorrow night playing inside a dome against the Rams.
